"Take them," Wangji said. The Lan disciples nodded and escorted the Wens down the stairs. Xingchen pulled Jiang Cheng by the hand and took him a couple of stairs down, Wangji followed and they all looked out in the horizon.
"It has been three months," Jiang Cheng said, "we made a deal that we would meet up at the teahouse in Yiling. But until now, he never showed up. I thought he went to look for you in Lanling," he turned to Wangji. "Could it be that he was really thrown into the Burial Mounds?"
"Second Young Master Lan," a disciple said walking towards the men. He was carrying swords in his hands. Jiang Cheng and Wangji took theirs, "Second Young Master Lan, this one belongs to Young Master Wei."
They all looked at the sword and Wangji gently took it in his hand. He looked at it for a while before pulling on the hilt, it wouldn't open.
He handed the sword to Jiang Cheng who took it gladly and grabbed his own sword. Xingchen looked at the two, "We should go to Qinghe to meet up with a-Li."
"Yanli?" Jiang Cheng asked, "We're going to meet up with her?"
"Yes, don't you remember? You were the one who said it," Xingchen said.
    "I did?"
"Yes, now let's go," Xingchen rode his sword down the stairs and mounted his horse. Jiang Cheng and Wangji followed his lead and they rode the horses into the distance.
They get closer to the Unclean Realm and saw a cart. They got off their horses and Jiang Cheng ran forward, "Yanli!"
The woman turned around with teary eyes at the voice, "A-Cheng, you're okay now. You recovered!"
He nodded with tears, "Yanli," he said and smiled. Yanli threw her arms around Jiang Cheng and cried into his shoulder, the man returned the hug crying.
Xingchen watched with a smile as the two siblings hugged, after not seeing each other for months. The two separated and Yanli saw him, "Uncle!" She cried and embraced hims tightly.
"A-Li, how were you darling?" Xingchen asked gently hugging her back.
"I've missed you," Yanli said crying softly, "so much."
"I've missed you too darling," Xingchen said softly, he pulled back and wiped her tears with his thumb.
"You look so tired," Yanli fussed, "have you been sleeping well? Do you need to rest?"
"No, no, I'm fine," Xingchen said, "I just couldn't sleep last night."
    "Why not?"
"I was worried too excited to see you," Xingchen said chuckling.
"I've been waiting to see you all...wait, where's a-Xian?" Yanli asked looking around.
"We're still looking for him," Jiang Cheng said looking down.
"He'll probably show up soon," Xingchen said, "and so will Xue Yang."
"I hope so," Yanli said sadly.

"The Wen Clan treated people with barbarity and got their way by any means," Minjue said slamming a hand on the table. "They shall face the wrath of God and the resentment of men."
"Red Blade Master killed a son of Wen Ruohan," Zixuan said, "it's like crippling one arm of his. It brings comfort to the deceased of the Jiang Clan."
"Our men will not rest until Wen Chao and Wen Zhuliu are dead," Jiang Cheng said angrily. Xingchen put a hand on his back in hopes to calm the man down, it worked slightly.
"That's right," Mingjue said, "a life for a life. All the members of the Wen Clan are going to be executed by this blade!" His blade trembled.
"Now, the supervisory offices in Langya and Qinghe have fallen," Zixuan said, "Zewu Jun has led the disciples of the Lan Clan back to Cloud Recesses. It won't take long for them to reclaim Gusu. Then all there are left are Yunmeng and Yiling."
"We took Yunmeng back a while ago," Jiang Cheng pipped in, "we took Lotus Pier back and have been rebuilding it."
Wangji walked in front if Mingjue, "Red Blade Master, I request for a battle assignment."
Jiang Cheng heard this and stood up next to Wangji, "Red Blade Master, me too." The man looked at the two with shocked eyes and Xingchen held back a smile.
"Which battlefield have you two chosen?" Mingjue asked.
"Yiling," Jiang Cheng said.
"Yiling," Mingjue repeated, "Yiling is farther away. Are you sure you want to go there?"
"Positive," Jiang Cheng said. Xingchen smiled and stood up.
"If I may, I would like to join them in this," Xingchen said.
"Xiao Xingchen right?" Mingjue asked.
"Yes, Red Blade Master," Xingchen said bowing.
"Fine, you may all go," Mingjue said.
"Thank you," Xingchen said.

Wei Ying and Xue Yang were on the roof of the mansion. One held a smirk while the other held a stone cold face. One held a flute while the other held a sword.
The two men watched as Wen Chao yelled for his servants that were dead. Wei Ying raised the flute to his lips and played a soft melody. The doors opened and in walked a figure.
It was Lingjiao, she was dragging her feet as she walked in the room. The melody grew stronger but Xue Yang paid no mind, he was used to this after all.
"Stay away!" Wen Chao yelled, he shut his eyes tight at the high pitched ringing in his head and grabbed his head with a groan.
Lingjiao had blood running down from her nose and past her lips. She reached an arm out, "Help," she said softly.
"I told you to leave me alone!" Wen Chao yelled, he drew his sword and waved it at the woman, "Leave me alone!"
She kept on walking closer and the man walked backwards. "Please help me," she begged. "Help me."
Wen Chao stabbed Lingjiao's stomach with a yell, but the woman kept speaking, "Help." She walked forward with the sword impaled in her stomach.
The man walked back and pulled the sword out. Lingjiao fell to the ground and crawled towards him, "Help me."
"Leave me alone!" Wen Chao fell back and scrambled away from the crawling woman.
"Help me," she said, "help me."
"Get away!" He thrashed around in hopes of getting the woman off of him. But it was no use, because she was never there.
