Jiang Cheng, Wei Ying and Xue Yang walked into the Unclean Realm and saw many people lying on beds. They were being given medicine and were bleeding and bruised.
Wei Ying walked in the middle if everyone and looked around for his sister. He heard a familiar voice and saw a woman sitting down next to a man, feeding him medicine.
"Yanli," he whispered with tears in his eyes.
The woman turned around and stood up slowly, "Xian-Xian," she whispered with a smile. She grabbed his arm and pulled him inside to a room, "Come," she said and ushered him to a sear, "sit down." She was crying now, "A-Xian, you got thinner."
"Yanli, you too," Wei Ying said. Xue Yang stood behind his friend and smiled at Jiang Cheng who looked at him with teary eyes.
"Where have you been?" Yanki asked.
Instead of answering the man hugged his sister, "Yanli, it doesn't matter where I've been. I won't leave now. I promised that you, Jiang Cheng, and I will be together forever."
"Yes," she cried, "together forever. Don't you ever disappear again, okay?"
Wei Ying pulled away, "Never again." He wiped the woman's tears gently and she smiled.
"Wei! Wei!" A voice cane from outside. It was Huaisang. He came running in the door and looked around, he saw Wei Ying and yelled, "Wei!" He ran over and knelt next to the man, "Wei! I heard you came back, it's really you! You really..." he lifted a hand to pat the man's shoulder but Wei Ying flinched instinctively.
Xue Yang drew his sword an inch when Huaisang moved his hand. Everyone was surprised at the way they had reacted. Wei Ying laughed nervously, "Nie, long time no see."
Huaisang laughed, "Wei, you've been missing foe months. Everyone was desperately looking for you. Especially Second Young Master Lan and Jiang. They almost-!"
"That's enough," Jiang Cheng grabbed his arm and pulled him away, "you're talking too much. Hurry let's get out."
"Wait! I'm not done yet," Huaisang said, "I'll tell you what! I'm giving a banquet tonight! Everyone can come!"
"Let's go," Jiang Cheng said as he pulled the man out of the room.
Wei Ying and Yanli laughed softly, "A-Xian, I'll go prepare your food. Just get some rest, you just came back. Don't exhaust yourself." Wei Ying nodded and the woman walked away with a smile.
He picked up his flute when she left and Xue Yang watched as the man looked at it, with an expression in his eyes that he could not identify.

"To Young Master Wei," everyone said, raising their cups. Wei Ying, however, was in a daze. He was staring at a seat and Xue Yang noticed his eyes were dark.
Yanli, who was sitting next to Wei Ying, nudged him, "A-Xian," she whispered.
The man awoke from his daze and saw what everyone was doing, "A-ah," he smiled awkwardly, "sorry."
"Wei shows his respect," Huaisang said, "I'll dry the glass then."
    "Dry it," Jiang Cheng repeated.
"Dry it," everyone else said. They drank from the cup and Mingjue noticed something strange.
"Young Master Wei," he said, "why didn't you carry your sword today?"
Everyone looked at Wei Ying expectingly, "I'm just not in the mood," he said.
A man scoffed, "As a disciple of a cultivation clan, carrying swords ought to be a kind of honor. I know Young Master Wei's fame as an untamed character, but isn't it a bit excessive to be so impertinent?"
Wei Ying took another sip of his alcohol, and another man spoke, "Young Master Wei's renown in swordsmanship is well-known. I expected to have a friendly match in such a rare case. However, you don't have your sword. How regrettable that you can't do me such a favor."
Wei Ying smiled softly and Huaisang took matters into his own hands, "Uh Wei. Why don't you tell everyone how you killed Wen Chao?"
"An evil person naturally met his bad end," Wei Ying replied. There was whispering in the back causing the man to smirk, "Yes, I heard he learned some sorceries. His talismans are vicious, and can kill easily."
"Maybe he learned some lousy tricks," a clan leader said.
Wei Ying drank from his cup again and smiled, he knew Xue Yang would end up scolding them. Then he got in a daze again.
    "A-Xian," his sister said.
"Yes?" Wei Ying asked, snapping out of it.
"Where is Second Young Master Lan?" Yanli asked.
"I don't know," he replied after a moment.
"Haven't you two been getting along well?" She asked.
"Is that so?" He asked and drank again.
"Gentlemen," a man announced, "we are now a coalition of four clans. We'll eradicate the Wen Clan sooner or later, we'll reduce them to nothing!"
"Yes!" Everyone yelled and drank again. Everyone but Wei Ying and Xue Yang, of course. Wei Ying grabbed the jar of alcohol and walked away, with Xue Yang following close behind.
They walked outside and Wei Ying saw the shadow of Wangji playing his guqin. Wei Ying chuckled as he remembered the words of the man, he took a sip of the jar with a smile.
Jiang Cheng appeared and walked to them, "Why did you leave early?" He asked.
"Aren't you the same?" Wei Ying asked.
"I'm worried about you," Jiang Cheng admitted, "why do you look so gloomy? Both of you now that I notice it."
"What do you think?" Wei Ying asked.
"Is it because Lan Wangji?" He asked, "Since that unhappy separation, he's been avoiding you. Why did you come her to be disliked by him?"
"Maybe I'm just bored," Wei Ying started walking away but his arm was held by Jiang Cheng.
"Wei Wuxian! I found your sword for you, why aren't you carrying it?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"I said I wasn't in the mood," Wei Ying said.
"Still, you should carry your sword in such a public situation next time. Xue Yang does it why can't you?" Jiang Cheng said.
"Jiang Cheng, you should know me by now," Wei Ying said, gently taking his arm back, "the more you want me to do something, the more I don't want to do it. What can they do if I don't carry my sword?" Jiang Cheng sighed and rolled his eyes, "Besides, I don't want to have a match with somebody I don't know. My sword can't return to it's sheath without any blood on it."
"Didn't you like to show off your swordsmanship?"
Wei Ying sighed, "I was childish back then. I can't be childish all my life." He pat Jiang Cheng's shoulder and walked away.
Xue Yang nodded at Jiang Cheng and walked behind his friend, and went to Wei Ying's room to talk.
