"Wei Wuxian," Jin Zixun said, "you are so selfish, and you never think about others."
"Who are you to have the right to see whether he is selfish or not?" Xue Yang said, "You aren't a sect leader from the looks of it. Therefore you have no right to judge anyone, especially those who or stronger than you!"
  "You! How dare you?!"
"I dare?!" Xue Yang laughed loudly, "I dare to do anything! You people have said that in the hunt, capability talks. Why do you betray your own words?"
"You two showed dirty malign tricks, not your own capability," Jin Zixun said. "You just play the flute. How can that be called a capability?"
"I didn't play any dirty tricks," Wei Ying said. "Why can't it be my own capability?" He scoffed, and raised to flute, "Or you can play the flute? Let's see if anything will follow your sound."
"You broke the rules. It isn't any better than playing dirty tricks!" Jin Zixuan yelled.
"Fine," Wei Ying said calmly. "If I don't know what's called capability, then please show me yours. Astonish me, please."
"You..." he started before chuckling. "It's understandable that you don't know you are wrong. It's not the first time that you have broken the rules. The last time was at the Floral Banquet, and this time, in the night hunt, you never carry your sword. At such solemn occasion, you know nothing of manners. Where do you place us, those who participate with you?"
Wei Ying turned around to Wangji and Xingchen, "Uncle, Xue Yang, Lan Zhan, I forgot to thank you for shielding me from that sword just now. Thanks!" He smiled.
"The Jiang Clan of Yunmeng had no better manners than this! They even produced a demonic cultivator!" Jin Zixun yelled.
  "Zixun!" Madam Jin scolded.
"Family discipline?" Wei Ying asked, "Dirty malign tricks?"
  "Wei Ying," Wangji warned.
Wei Ying chuckled, "Don't you want to know why I refuse to carry my sword? It doesn't matter even if I tell you. I don't need to carry my sword. I, Wei Wuxian, will beat you all by using only the dirty malign tricks that you speak of and leave all of you far behind!"
"Wei Wuxian," Jin Zixun said, "you are no more than the son of a servant."
Both Wei Ying and Xue Yang snapped at this, "What did you say?" Xue Yang asked threateningly.
Wangji ran up to Wei Ying who was shaking and surrounded by black smoke, "Wei Ying, concentrate. Wei Ying, concentrate."
Yanli walked over and grabbed Wei Ying's other arm, "A-Xian! A-Xian!" Hearing her voice he calmed down.
Xingchen had walked next to Xue Yang and whispered, "Let me handle this."
Xue Yang slowly and reluctantly nodded and stepped back.
Xingchen turned to Jin Zixun, "Young Master Jin Zixun. You've just said that it is a-Xian who has taken 30 percent of the prey in Baifeng Mountain. You said he broke the rules and he was too proud. I don't know much about gatherings and night hunts like this, it may really cause some trouble for you. I will apologize to you all for him."
Yanli walked over and bowed with him.
Xue Yang and Wei Ying's eyes widened.
Jin Zixun laughed, "Lady Jiang and Master Xiao are both very  polite and decent and can tell what's right from wrong. What your little brother and friend have done is indeed wrong and has caused some trouble. But there's no need to apologize for your and Clan Leader Jiang's sake."
"However," Yanli said, "although I have never participated in a night hunt before, I do understand that since ancient times until today, there isn't a rule in the hunt that forbids one participant to have too much prey.
"You just said that a-Xian broke the rules. I want to ask which rule he has just broken."
"Lady Jiang," a man said from behind her, he was a clan leader from the looks of it, "this may not be right! Although some rules haven't been written out, we all learn them in our hearts very clearly. Besides, we've been obeying the rules well."
Many disciples began agreeing with him.
"That's not his fault that you can't hunt the prey!" Yanli said sternly. "Capability talks in the hunt. Although he took a different method, he studied it with effort. You can't make a judgement that he practices dirty malign tricks just because you can't hunt enough prey."
"Besides," Xingchen added, "let's focus on the hunt, not family discipline. You referred to him as the son of a servant, which is unacceptable to me. Hence, I hope you, Young Master Jin Zixun, can apologize to Wei Wuxian and Xue Yang from the Jiang Clan of Yunmeng."
"A-Li, Master Xiao, don't take it seriously. Relax." Madam Jin said.
"Madam Jin," Yanli said, "a-Xian is my younger brother. If he gets humiliated, that's not trivial to me." She glared at Jin Zixun.
"Zixun," Madam Jin said, "didn't you hear her?"
  "Madam Jin!"
Two people arrived, Xichen, and Jin Guangyao.
Wangji went to greet his brother. Xichen asked, "Why are you here too?"
Guangyao walked up to them, "My friends, why are you all gathered here?"
"What happened?" Madam Jin spat, "You're smiling? How can you still smile? Look at the night hunt held by you! Useless!"
Guangyao looked around in shame, "Mother, what on earth happened?"
"What happened? Well, can't you figure it out yourself? Aren't you good at judging the situation?"
Jin Zixun stepped forward, "About 30 percent of the prey has been hunted in Baifeng Mountain. How much prey is left for the other five thousand participants?"
Xichen stepped forward as well, "Master Lianfang has prepared to expand the region of the hunting ground. Please calm down."
The man scoffed, "This hunt is just a farce! Forget it! I withdraw." He turned around.
Guangyao grabbed his arm, "Zixun, I have made the preparation. It will take no more than half an hour."
Sect Leader Yao stepped forward, "Young Master Jin Zixun. There's no need to withdraw."
He scoffed, "There are no rules left in this hunt anyways. Why should I wait? I'll leave first!" He stalked away followed by his disciples.
Madam Jin took the rest of the group with her except Wangji, "Madam Jin," Yanli said, "I caused some trouble for you this time."
"A-Li," she said, "nothing about you is a problem for me. My son has made you upset. If you are unhappy, I can give him a beating for you."
"No need." Yanli said, "Madam Jin, I'll be on my way then."
"Ah, wait. Come back to the stands with me. Let Zixuan accompany you." Madam Jin said, "Zixuan-"
"There's no need for that," Yanli said. "They will accompany me."
Madam Jin glanced around, "A-Li, you and them, a young woman and a few young men...It's not proper for you all to stay alone together."
"A-Xian is my younger brother, and Xiao Xingchen is my uncle. Xue Yang is A-Xian's best friend."
"A-Li, your mother was a very close friend of mine," Madam Jin said. "Forgive me for saying too much, but you are no longer children. If you stay together, people may make idle talks.
"Besides, they have strong wicked energy. They may do something evil. Take my advice,  and stay away from them."
"Madam Jin. They are my family, I'll never leave them."
"A-Li," Madam Jin said, "are you still angry at my son? If you are angry at him, I will teach him a lesson indeed!"
"Sincerely, there's no need for that. Madam Jin, please don't force him."
  "No, I didn't."
"Madam Jin," Wei Ying said, walking up to them. He grabbed Yanli's wrist gently, "I don't want to trouble Young Master Jin anymore. Let's part ways here. Farewell, Madam Jin."
They all began to walk away, "Ah! A-Li!" She turned to her son, "Zixuan, hurry up!"
Zixuan braced himself and called out, "Lady Jiang! Wait, Lady Jiang!" Yanli stopped, "You misunderstood me!"
