Just when I thought this couldn't get much worse, it did. The fighting was only growing stronger and I was only growing weaker. I was thirsty, tired, injured, and literally covered in my own blood. I didn't know how much longer I could take of this but I refused to give up like I did last time. The Decepticons would not beat me this time; I refused to let it happen.

I couldn't believe that I was here right now, but there was also no place I'd rather be. I just wasn't happy with the fact that the Decepticons had gone so low as to bring my mother into this. And her aloneness made me very worrisome for my baby sister. I didn't have a clue as to where she was or what they had done to her and the thought of my innocent baby sister in the hands of one of those vile creatures made me so sick to my stomach.

Never in my life had I experienced anything like this. The base attack back in 2007 didn't even compare to this, of course. Decepticons were everywhere and there was twice as many here in Egypt than there had been back in Washington and this time I was being hunted.

I knew I still wanted to be in the army, but the sight of all of this just made me cringe at the thought. On TV I watched wars and different battles take place, but this is the first real time I had ever endured an attack of this magnitude. I honestly didn't know how my dad or Ironhide did it. This was horrible and heart breaking to say the least, but my main focus right now was getting to Optimus and bringing him back.

Helicopters flew overhead as the battle ensued and I watched in horror as every single one of them was shot down. There were so many explosions happening in front of my face. Decepticons were being shot down and I could very faintly see as some of my dad's men were shot down as well. I clenched my fist, hoping my dad, Epps, Hide and the rest of the Autobots were okay.

Sam, Mikaela, and I ran over to hide behind the ruins of a house. The pain in my arm was growing by the moment; I gripped tightly on to my bleeding arm. Taking a deep breath, I focused myself. I was beginning to feel slightly faint but I refused to let that stop me.

"Azalea, are you okay?" Sam pressed.

I nodded. "Yeah. I'm going to be fine."

He sighed and soon enough I heard the familiar sound of Elita One's voice. I turned to see her rolling over to us. Behind her was Chromia, Arcee, and Ironhide. I perked up at the sight of him; all I wanted right now was to be back in his arms.

"We've spotted Sam and Lea!" Elita One called.

"Sam! Azalea!" I heard Ironhide call, a tone of anger in his voice as he yelled my name.

Elita One and the other two twins rolled over to us. "Follow us to the pillars. We'll take you to Optimus," Elita One spoke.

My relief was short lived when the three of them turned back around. Elita One let out a cry as she was shot and I screamed loudly; Chromia and Arcee were shot down shortly after. Ironhide was now shooting at a giant tan mech.

"Both of you, get out! Get to the pillars," he commanded.

I am so dead when this is done.

Sam, Mikaela, and I began running towards the pillars as they had pointed out to us. If this wasn't over soon, I was surely going to collapse from amount of blood loss.

There were more and more tanks and helicopters advancing onto the battlefield. Sam pulled us further and further onto the field.

We ran right into the middle of the gunfire, only focused on the soldiers in front of us. The gunfire was deafening as well as the clashing metal. We ran the length of the pillars, Sam waving his jacket to signal our location.
