I sat in the car taking in the scenery that flies past the moving car. Taking in the beautiful landscape I will no longer see in a few hours. Its hard to believe my dream is finally coming true. Im finally going to start a new life. Meet new people. Maybe finally build the courage to persue in my music career. I am going to miss this place, like hell, but its a good i'm moving. Getting away from Mikayla and her posse. Away from Sam. Away from the notes i find in my locker all the time. It'l be good for me.

"ARE WE THERE YET? ARE WE THERE YET? ARE WE THERE YET?" Cassie continuously asked. She has a habit of asking and asking and asking until she gets what she wants. Over all shes a great sister. She knows almost everything about me. She knows all my secrets, and hasnt lot my parents about any of them.

"Almost Cassie, Almost. Please keep quiet its too early in the morning" Dad says trying to calm her down. My time to shine.

"Here Cassie. Play on my ipod." I say handing her my ipod with angry birds already loaded on it. Her favourite game.

Dad gives me a thankful look through the mirror. I just smirked and put my hand out.

I made a deal with dad a while back when Cass hit her terrible two's mode, that whenever she gets annoying and i calm her down when dad couldnt, he gives me ten bucks. Now everyday since then he's ended up giving me no more then 50 bucks a day, frankly because mum wouldnt let him give me anymore, but secretly, he'd put it in my bank account without mum knowing. But today was different. Its 5 in the morning and ive already scored 100 bucks.

"Thats the tenth one today. Thanks Dad." I said patting him on the back playfully.

"I wish you'd stop skeeming money off your father. He's gonna become broke by the time we land in England." Mum said with a wary tone in her voice.

"Hunny, you know i love you heaps, but do you want a calm Cassie and Quiet Kodie that doesnt constantly ask for money? Or. . . . . . . . . . . a Crazy Cassie and a Nagging Broke Kodie?" Dad says winking at me in the mirror.

Mum sighs "The first one, but you better not bust that money on rubbish. You should be saving up your money."

"Dont worry mum, im not stupid." I say laughing.

"Finally we're here!" I say letting out a huge sigh.

"Yay! Lets Go! Lets Go!" She starts screaming excitedly.

I jump out of the car and run to get a luggage cart. Dad grabs all the luggage and and lead us to get our tickets. I picked Cassie up, as mum was quite tired and wouldnt be able to handle her constantly asking her questions.

We walked inside and just as i did so i noticed a boy glaring at me. Not just any boy, he was beautiful, no gorgeous. He looked like an angel.

"Kodie! Where are you going? Mummy and Daddy is that way!" I heard Cass scream in my ear, and snap me back to reality.

"Please Cass, inside voice." I said, and headed towards where mum and dad were standing in line.

It took about an hour to get our tickets, and another 3 hours for us to board the plane. I placed my luggage in the top department and carried my backpack to my seat and got my phone out, and put it on flight mode. Dad, mum and Cassie were in the seats behind me so i would most likely be seated next to some wierd old creep, who would try to talk to me the whole flight to England. I couldnt help but think about that boy that was looking at me earlier. He looked at me differently then any boy has ever looked at me before. It got me thinking. Did he already hate me more then any other guy at my old school? No, it was more of a mysterious look. But man was he gorgeous, kinda like the guy standing next to me. . . . Oh my god.

It will be fine. . . . I promise?Where stories live. Discover now
