(Chloe's POV)
"Do I have to close my eyes?" I asked walking with Harley's hands blocking my sight.
"Yes. You'll like it. Promise." He said and I could tell he was smiling.
"Alright. Up these stairs. One, two and last one." He guided me up a set of stairs, then moved his hands. "Okay. Now...open your eyes."
Slowly I opened my eyes, and was greeted with the sight of the sun setting over the half-frozen Hudson River. "Wow." I smiled looking at water.
"Welcome to the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway. Come on. This way." Harley grabbed my hand.
He led me to a restaurant that was completely empty. "Where is everybody?" I asked looking around.
"It's just us." I looked at Harley stunned.
"What do you mean?" I questioned him.
"Well I-" he was cut off by my phone ringing.
"One sec." I smiled at him and then answered it. "Hello?"
"So how do you like my gift?" I sighed hearing Tony's voice.
"Hey Tony. You did this?" I smiled looking at Harley.
"Technically, yes. But it was all the kids idea." He said, and I presumed he meant Harley.
"So you've talked, then?" I asked eyeing Harley who avoided eye contact.
"Yes. But it was all HIS idea. I just payed for everything." He bragged and I rolled my eyes.
"Thank you Tony. But I'm gonna have to go. I have a date." I told Tony.
"Whoa whoa whoa. You still owe me an explanation. What happened to my money?"
"Well now you know not to leave you credit cards all over the compound, Tony." I smirked.
"Fine. But we are going to have a talk next time I see you though." He commanded.
"Great. Just tell me when, and I will strategically not be there. Okay, bye Tony." I laughed hanging up the phone.
Harley and I looked at each other before bursting out with laughter.
After eating dinner we went back to the compound where I took him up to the roof. "I like to come up here and think." I told him smiling.
"I can see why." He laughed.
"Not the snow part of course." I waved my arm motioning to the white substance on the ground.
"Obviously." He smiled moving closer. I held my breath as he leaned down.
He was about to kiss me when my phone rang. I groaned but pulled out my phone.
I sighed seeing Cooper's name on the caller ID. "Just ignore it." Harley said pushing the phone away.
"It could be important. Just give me one minute." I told him answering the phone. "Cooper as much as I love talking to you, I'm in the middle of something important."
"Did you know we were moving?" He asked, sounding mad.
"What?"
"Did you know that my parents are making us move? We've never moved before." He ranted.
Yep. He was definitely mad.
"Okay, Cooper, listen to me. I'm sure they didn't mean to spring this on you. Just ask them why. Listen I gotta go, but call me later and explain."
