Tala Rose is from a planet we're people have animal features and a super power called semblance, and hers is the able to see very far away so when the UNSC arrived and destroyed the Grimm the people of remnant joined the UNSC and she signed up as a sniper and with her semblance to see far away made her the deadliest sniper out of her group but unfortunately she was sent to a space station called sign Orbital.
