| Chapter 43

Time, what is time? Why is time so important?

For some odd reason you would always tell that time is gold so its important to not waste it either, but now... you wouldn't want to waste any second of it just because of him.

You somehow can't picture out your day and night without him, for now... Your head is full of him and well the date it is today.

Glancing out of the window, you stared at him, at Kim Seokjin who's too busy building a fort or in some point a tower of stones.

You've been avoiding him for some time now which he initially hates, well who was to blame?

Him leaving?

Your Job?

You? 

Or...

Your fear of him leaving you?

Specifically the one to blame is the last part which is really true. Your scared to see the daylights flashing before your eyes without his sleeping face, your scared to miss him, your scared about what will happen most importantly your scared about the fact that your slowly falling for him.

You were always direct about what you want, about your decision, but this situation of yours now...

You clearly had an head ache just to decide which is which.

Sitting firmly on the ground, Seokjin stole glances at your form who's closing the curtains for some odd reason and that irritates him.

Staring at his fort of rocks, he sighed and pout. "What did I do this time? " he ask himself with furrowed eyebrows thinking deeply about his sin and clearly he thought of nothing. Is she on her period? He ask himself dumbfoundedly.

"Nope! "

Laying firmly on the ground, he tilts his head and stared at you who's just staring at the calender. She's been staring at it these days and I can't help, but to be jealous. He talked to himself and sits up.

"What does she expect? For me to turn into a calendar? My face is already sight seeing can't you just stare at me instead of that thing?! " he whispered while stomping his way towards the calendar hanged at the wall,  but what he saw immediately answered his question about you being distant and cold.

WWH's 35th Day

Placing the last pack of coffee packets at the shelves, Seokjin was just about to take a glance at you, but he didn't expect that you were actually staring already at him.

With wide eyes, you immediately averted your gaze at the packets in your hands. Thinking to yourself... Why were you so affected by it?

"You know instead of avoiding me, you should probably talk to me" with wide eyes, you slowly turned around and stared at him. "I don't know what your talking about" you whispered while making your way out of his reach.

Following you Seokjin frowned and gritted his teeth in annoyance because of your immature behaviour towards the situation.

"Why are you avoiding me? " he ask while blocking your way and for the last time you moved far away from him.

"Yah! Areum!"

Stopping at your tracks because of him calling you out with your name, you clenched you fist and just stood there hanging your head low.

"Why do you keep avoiding me if you can simply just be with me? "

Blinking twice, you immediately turned around and faced him bewildered about what he stated. Walking towards you, he sighed and ruffled his hair in frustration.

"Why do you keep counting the days? Why do you always think about the days of me leaving you when actually you can think about the days of me spending each seconds with you?!" he exclaimed while holding unto your clenched hand firmly.

"Stop thinking negatively, why can't we enjoy our time together huh? " with that statement of his you yanked your hands away from him while stepping back and smiled bitterly at him. The expression on your face made his whole being shatter and what you said next made him realize about the pain your going through.

"How can I possibly enjoy it?! When its clearly written everywhere! You! Kim Seokjin will be leaving freaking soon...

You'll be leaving me and I don't know why I hate the thought of it"
