The Aftermath...

~~The Next Morning~~

It was the the next morning after the second class trial...and you haven't slept a wink. The morning announcement had already gone off and everyone is supposed to be at the dinning hall by now...but not you. You didn't feel like leaving your room at all today. The events that happened yesterday started flooding your mind and you couldn't think straight...You glanced over at the metal plates that had blood on them. Since you had a lot of emotions bottle up, you decided to take them out by punching the metal plates. Your attention was then moved towards the trash can that was filled with tissues from you crying your eyes out last night. And lastly...you looked over at Mondo's jacket that he gave you before he was executed... Just looking at that jacket alone...made you want to cry your eyes out...

"I...can't even imagine...how Taka feels about this... He must hurt as much as I do...", you mumbled. "I'm not leaving my room today... I don't...feel like dealing with reality...right now... I may have been hurt physically in the past...but this right here...". You then put your hand over your heart. "...this hurts the most...", you said as tears began to run down your face.

~~Makoto's POV~~

After the morning announcement, everyone had met up in the dinning hall, just like always. And I expected it to start like any other day. That's what I expected, but...

"Today's count kinda sucks, huh? Toko and Byakuya still refuse to show up...", Hiro said

"And I haven't seen Miss Asahina or Miss L/n anywhere", Hifumi said

"Asahina said her stomach was hurting, so she's taking it easy in her room for today", Sakura said. "As for Y/n, I'm not so sure why she's not here".

"That is rather unusual for Asihina. Normally she is so full of energy", Celeste said

"Which is exactly what makes me worry...".

"Maybe the reason Y/n isn't here is, well...she isn't taking things so well after what happened yesterday. I mean, she lost someone that she's known for years... And for him to be executed right in front of her... I can only imagine the pain she feels right now...", Makoto said.

"I see, so it's just the seven of us, then?", Kyoko said

"It looks that way...", I said

"It's times like this where the committee chairman needs to get things going with a BANG!", Hiro said

"..."

"Or not..."?

'Taka hasn't said a word since everything that happened yesterday... One look at his face showed he hasn't slept a wink last night. It must be because of Mondo as well... The two of them became so close, and then he finds out Mondo killed Chihiro... And then...having to watch Mondo get...punished. And nothing he could do about it... I can't even imagine what it must be for not only him...but for Y/n as well...", I thought

"So, I mean...what's gonna happen now? We haven't found any way out, and we have no idea if help's ever gonna come", Hifumi said

"Forget the outside world, and accepts this new life. That is the only hope we have now", Celeste said

"What...? To live here forever...?", I said

"Here we have every convenience. We have food, clothes, our every need is seen to. Why are you dissatisfied? In fact, let me ask you this? What is it about the outside world that you long for?
