CHAPTER FIFTY ONE: Premonition

I sat on the little stool I got from the storage room and sat in front of the rose plant ka kailangan kong pabulaklakin.

I tried recalling everything that Igor said awhile ago when I asked him on how to take care of roses.

"Ako nga di mapabulaklak yun ikaw pa kaya?!" Igor exclaimed habang inaabutan ko sya at ang mga hardinero nya ng kape.

"Kapag may tiyaga may Afritada." I said.

"Nilaga yun Yana." Sabi nung isang hardinero tapos nagtawanan na silang lahat.

"Sige na Igor please." I said sabay pa tweetums.

"Haist! Di ka talaga magpapaawat ano? Basta ganito ang gawin mo." Igor said then inisa isa na nya sa akin yung kailangan kong gawin.

"Number One tanggalin ang mga damo sa lupa." I said then I started plucking out yung mga damong ligaw sa lupa nung rosas.

After an hour nasimot ko na yung mga damong ligaw.

"Number Two remove insects." I said out loud. It took me awhile to get all of them out dahil takot ako sa creepy crawlers.

"Number three fertilizer application." I said then I went to the garden storage room at kumuha ng fertilizer.

"Ayan ha! Siguro naman mamumulaklak ka na. Effort na effort na itong ginawa ko ha." I said to the plant.

I stand up at pinagpag yung mga lupa sa pants ko. I was about to go out of the garden ng makaramdam ako na parang may nakatingin sa akin. I look back but found no one.

"Napaparanoid ka na naman Alyana. Tigilan mo na yan ha." I scolded myself.

I went back inside the mansion and headed directly to the West Wing's library. I need to study about that plant if I want to succeed. I know that Igor's instructions are not enough to make that plant give its flowers. Baka may ibang ginagawa si Ma'am Sophia. I need to do some research.

After two hours...

I closed the book on my hand. Nothing in these books gave me new ideas on how to take care of that Hybrid Tea Rose. Lahat nagawa ko na by the book.

I scratch my head due to frustration. Maybe taking a nap could clear my mind. Humikab ako and I rest my head on the book. I close my eyes and waited for sleep to take me.

Everything around me is red. It feels like my whole body is burning.

I tried to breathe in air but it seems that the air is too thin. My lungs weren't satisfied.

Large sweat formed on my face and I started to gasp for air.

I can't breathe.

I'm choking.

Choking to death.

I opened my eyes and catch my breath. I look around me and was at ease to find out that it was just a bad dream.

Pinunasan ko yung namuong pawis sa noo ko.

It was a scary dream.

Bigla akong napatayo sa kinauupuan ko ng umalingawngaw sa buong mansyon ang isang malakas na tili.

Ng bata?

"Laylah!" I exclaimed then I run out of the library. I saw Ramiel coming out of his room.
