"Sometimes you just have to accept that some people are bad humans and stop trying to see the good that isn't there."

The day had gone by quickly and all Y/n could think about was what Grindelwald did to her mother. 'That sick bastard...' She thought as she made her way to the common room, dwelling on what her mother had gone though.

She and Tom hadn't communicated much since he's been acting rather cold to her. Y/n didn't understand why it bothered her so much. She didn't know Tom all that well so he didn't have a massive impact on her life. It was best to not think about him too much.

It was hard, though. Despite them not having many memories together, the memories they did have together were quite happy. Tom wasn't a big part of her life, so why would he bother bringing her to that lake? Wiping her tears? She didn't understand it. And she didn't understand why Tom was being so distance all of a sudden. It especially didn't help that Y/n knew he wasn't like that to others.

But who is she to care? She has James, and Tom has all those fangirls drooling over her. What difference would it make if the Princess was a fangirl as well? He has Heather to himself anyway.

But why did Tom enter her mind so frequently? She did have a little crush at first but, not big enough for her to be thinking about him this much. He didn't mean that much to her. And she doubted he would mean a lot to him. The boy is incredibly unbothered, there's no use putting energy into someone who won't feel the same way. Why would she waste time on Tom when she already had James?

He's just a boy.

Y/n thought trying her best to shake him off her mind. Apparently, Tom was also doing the same.

Tom paced the floor of his bedroom in the Room of Requirement, angry at himself for not being able to stop thinking about her. He knew this wasn't normal. He knew it wasn't normal for person to think about someone as much as he thought about her. He knew it wasn't normal for HIM to think about someone as much as he thought of her.

The thought of Y/n raced his mind so frequently, he couldn't focus on anything else. His grades were slacking, his nonchalant act was fading and most importantly... She was distracting him in death eater meetings. It came to a point where Tom was angry. No matter what he did, she wouldn't leave his mind.

'It has to be a love potion.'

He thought, now staying in place before leaving immediately and rushing over to find Y/n.

After a few minutes of searching corridor to corridor, he found her in the astronomy tower, looking up at the stars, deep in thought. She must've sensed his presence since she turned around and smiled at Tom.

"Hello, Tom!" she greeted joyfully, happy that she finally had a proper interaction with him.

"Just get straight to the point, L/n." he bellowed as he stormed over to her and grabbed her shoulders, backing her up to the nearest wall, anger clearly shown in his green eyes, which were now dilated. His jaw was clenched, his teeth were gritted and his eyebrows were furrowed.

Y/n was frightened and confused.

"W-What are you talking about, Tom?" she stammered, trying to get out of his grip but all he did was lean closer to her.

"The potion. What is it?" he demanded in a serious tone. Not taking his eyes off hers.

This confused Y/n even further as he looked at her angrily. She knew Tom wasn't exactly a kind person but she never would've imagined him doing this.
