"I am the author of my own story. No matter how difficult life gets I will remember this is just one chapter and I will continue to keep going. I have so much good to do and beautiful places to see. My story isn't over yet."

________________________________After a while of trying and desperately failing to talk James out of the match, the couple finally got to the Quidditch pitches. Y/n turned to James one last time just to make sure that he really wanted to do this.
"Are you sure you still want to do this?" Y/n asked, a look of worry on her face. James nodded, certain that whatever happened to him, Quidditch would never be delayed. "And you're absolutely sure?" Y/n repeated, her look of worry and doubt never leaving her face, which James returned with a chuckle.
"I'm sure, Y/n," James replied, taking a hold of Y/n's hand and caressing it softly.
"Hey, Potter!" Richard Carter called after him, gesturing for him to change. James exhaled slowly, worried that the team might not win due to his injuries.
Y/n cupped his face gently, making him turn his head to her. "Good luck, okay?" she greeted, a smile placed on her face. James nodded, still afraid that he'd let down his team.
"Okay," James replied before walking over to the changing rooms, limping slightly. Y/n watched until James was out of sight. Then she went back to the common room, afraid that she'll lose house points if she was caught without her uniform again.
Once she made it there, the common room was now full of students, laughing and chatting while the large picture of Rowena Ravenclaw looked upon them.
Y/n knew the painting wouldn't really move but when she smiled at it, Rowena seemed to smile back. And as quick as it had begun, the painting was as still as ever. She thought she was hallucinating so she shook her head and walked over to one of the couches, grabbing one of the books on the wall.
Breakfast had gone by quickly and it was time for the students to go over to the Quidditch pitch to watch the game. Y/n sat at the very front to get a better view and to see how James was holding up. When James flew out of the changing rooms with the rest of the Gryffindor team, he was in his Quidditch uniform, and had a determined look on his face. It was February so it still had a tad bit of snow, but that wasn't a problem at all.
All 14 players spread around the arena, circling the stands while the announcer started talking and explaining the rules of the game. Cheers and claps erupted from the students as they cheered for the team they were rooting for.
James flew over to one of the Ravenclaw stands where Y/n was and slowed his flying down so he could talk to Y/n.
"James, are you okay?" Y/n asked, trying one last time to get James to back away.
"I'm fine, Y/n," James replied with a chuckle as he made one last turn around the Ravenclaw stand.
"Well, good luck!" Y/n yelled, watching as James flashed her one last smile before going to the centre of the pitch along with the other players.
12 players made a circle below James and Regulus, while the two of the boys gave each other ugly looks. The players watched as the bludger was released from the case, followed by the golden snitch. There was a moment of silence before the referee released the Quaffle and as soon as the Quaffle came down again, the chasers raced towards it, one of the Gryffindors grabbing it and flying towards the goalposts.
And just like that, the game begun.
The chaser with the Quaffle had a difficult time getting to the goalposts as Slytherins swooped and distracted him, trying to get the Quaffle. But eventually, he made it to the goalposts, earning 10 points for the Gryffindor team.
