Y/n and the girls stayed in the bathroom and chatted for about half an hour before a strange act caught their attention. Tom was coming into the room, a smirk on his face which immediately disappeared when he saw Y/n and her friends all staring at him in shock.

"What are you doing here, Tom?" Y/n asked, confused as to why Tom was in the girls restroom.

"I...erm...What are you doing here?" Tom said, quickly thinking of a lie.

Y/N chuckled, "Tom, this is the ladies bathroom!" Y/n giggled while the other girls laughed along with Y/n.

"...Isn't this the mens restroom?" Tom lied smoothly, making all the girls believe his silly mistake.

"No, it isn't." Y/n smiled, holding back her laugh, amused at how such an intelligent student could make such a stupid mistake.

"Oh. Well, I best be going then." Tom said, clenching his jaw since his plan was ruined. He turned around, walking away, annoyed.

"See, Delilah? Men are stupid." Charlotte giggled which Tom heard just before he left.

The girls let this strange event pass but Y/n, however, couldn't help but feel that something was wrong. Not something emotionally wrong but Tom was planning something. No matter how funny it seemed, it really was odd that Tom accidentally entered the girls' restroom. Unless, it wasn't an accident at all.

As the day passed, Y/n tried her best to spend time with Tom because she couldn't get rid of the knot in her stomach. There was a constant voice telling her 'You have to do something before it all gets worse.' and Y/n wanted to do something about it.

After Tom constantly moving around the castle with Y/N hot on his trail, he stopped in front of the Room of Requirement which was where he kept Nagini. He was running late to a death eater meeting because of him wandering around the castle, thinking about more things he could do in the future.

"Hey Tom!" Y/n said, catching the young mans' attention.

"What are you doing here?" Tom asked suspiciously.

"I just wanted to see how Nagini was doing, that's all." Y/n lied which Tom didn't believe one bit.

Tom narrowed his eyes and thought it was best if he left the death eaters confused and run late rather than have Y/n find out all about this.

"Well she's doing great." Tom said, now leaving into the distance.

"Aren't you gonna show me her?" Y/n asked, confused.

Tom stopped in his tracks, looking over his shoulder.

"No." Tom said before walking off again.

"Alright. Guess I'll just see her myself." Y/n said, taking a deep breath and closing her eyes, slowly summoning the doors to the room.

Tom swiftly turned around, wide-eyed as he watched the doors to the room submerge from the walls.

"WAIT NO!" Tom said, his voice echoing throughout the corridor as he grabbed Y/n's arm, snapping her out of her thoughts as the doors disappeared as fast as they came. She narrowed her eyes, knowing that her instinct was right.

"What are you hiding, Tom?" Y/n interrogated, not breaking eye-contact from the worried man.

"What are you talking about?" Tom asked, acting oblivious.
