Atychiphobia
(n.) Fear of failure, fear of not being good enough.
________________________________Y/n followed her friends to the bar, afraid that she might get lost if she went on her own.
Clara ordered drinks for all of the girls as Delilah looked around for a new boy she might have a chance with. Y/n was a bit nervous since she had never been to a party like this and her uncomfortableness must've been showing since Clara spoke to her.
"Don't worry, you'll get used to it soon," Clara said, handing Y/n her drink. "On 3," Clara said as Delilah, Y/n and her brought their glasses up. "1, 2, 3!" and with that, the girls brought the drink up to their mouths and swallowed every last bit of it.
Y/n thought the drink was a bit too strong and scrunched her nose up, trying to take in this new taste. The girls laughed at Y/n's sour face, having no reaction at all.
And as the night went on, Y/n got more and more drunk and danced with a couple of people here and there, completely forgetting about James who wasn't present tonight.
So far, Tom was no where in sight which Y/n took as a opportunity to get her mind off of things. She danced and danced until she got bored. Leaving her partner confused. Y/n went over to the bar again to grab another drink, that was until she was given a tap on the shoulder by Charlotte.
"Hey, Y/n, we're gonna play truth or dare, wanna come?" Charlotte asked, having a hopeful glint in her emerald eyes. Y/n nodded, her mind all jumbled having a few drinks too many.
Charlotte took Y/n's hand and led her to a little private luxurious room filled with different students. One of the students happened to be Jack, his white shirt loose as he took another shot.
"Oh, hi, Y/n..." Jack greeted. "Didn't know you were the type of person to come here," Jack chuckled, an amused look placed on his face. Y/n chuckled, turning her attention to the Gryffindor girl handing out drinks.
"Alright, everybody, everyone's gonna take a hit of Veritaserum, this way it wouldn't be that easy to lie," the girl said as Y/n drank the serum, putting the glass on the floor as she sat down in a circle. It completely slipped her mind what secrets she was hiding, and how easily it could've came out with the Veritaserum.

Meanwhile, Tom had been on prefect duties, circling every corridor to watch for any student out past curfew. As he was doing so, he had found a few students walking the corridors, though, not in uniform. He followed them, and as he did, they turned into the corridor which the Room of Requirement was. He quickly made the turn, but, they had vanished.
His eyebrows furrowed together, and to make sure, he walked to the next corridor, only to find that they had completely vanished. He found himself standing in front of the Room of Requirement, doubting himself, before closing his eyes, and summoning the room.
He entered and saw the worst thing imaginable. A party. The whole school. In his secret room. He looked around frantically but wherever he looked, he saw students dancing, drinks being handed out, music blasting. The entire thing was a nightmare to him.
He stood still, being unable to move, his heart beat speeding up, his eyes wide, his mouth agape as his curls fell in front of his face. His fists clenched. He knew exactly who would've done this.
While this was happening, Delilah decided to go look for Tom, wondering why the host of the party would be so absent. Then, as she was making her way through the crowd of people, she bumped into a familiar platinum blond.
