TW: MENTIONS OF SURGERY AND SUICIDE.
georges pov
george felt like he was breaking from the inside out.
"i could've saved him sapnap i could've saved him."
"dude i promise that you did everything you could, you always tried to help him. what else could you have done ?"
"i could've done something, i could've saved him sapnap."
"you were the one that found him, you saved his life by finding him today. there's still a chance he'll make it, and besides he said not to blame yourself so please don't blame yourself george"
"i could've done something..."
george saw a nurse walk from dreams room and walk over to them.
"you two are the friends of clay <last name>,
right?
"mhm"
"ok so, we really don't know if he will be fine. we are doing the best we can but it's not looking the best, but he will need a surgery in the next couple of days. we will keep you two updated"
the nurse walked away and back into his room, and george starred crying more.
"sapnap i-if he dies then i'm going to be lost"
"george he won't die i promise, please don't think like that"
"the nurse said he wasn't doing so well..."
george and sapnap both fell asleep in the hospital that night, when they both woke up sapnap suggested going to get breakfast at a cafe and so they got a taxi.
"you know one of us really should've gotten a rental car"
"i don't think either of us was expecting this to happen"
"yeah that's fair"
when they got to they cafe, george paid the driver and they went inside. george and sapnap sat down and ordered their food.
"uh...can i have a black coffee please"
"mhm and for you sir ?"
"can i have a iced coffee ?"
"mhm, is that it ?"
"yeah"
"your coffees will be out shortly"
"thanks"
george scrolled through twitter while waiting for his coffee.

GAYmerBoi: why do u think george or dream haven't streamed in a while ? i miss them :(

dreamhater6969: dream hates his fans that's why he doesn't stream anymore same with george, they're just in it for the money.

"at least some people are nice, others not i guess", george thought.
the waitress brought him and sapnaps coffee.
"your total will be 7.79"
"sapnap ill pay"
"you sure ?"
"mhm"
george paid and then started drinking his coffee.
"you know sapnap i'm really worried about dream. what if he doesn't make it ?"
"he will how many times do i have to say this, hes gonna be fine"
"you were reading the note with me right ? you saw what he said, sure what if he makes it but decides to kill himself right when he gets discharged from the hospital"
"when he gets discharged from the hospital he'll probably not actually get discharged, he'll probably get transferred to a psychiatric hospital and he'll get the help he needs"
"sapnap im worried"
"it's gonna be fine george"
"what if it won't ?"
"don't be sad about it, it's going to be ok"
george cried in the cafe, whilst getting stares. later that day after going around the city a bit him and sapnap got a taxi and went over to the hospital. when they both arrived they went to the floor dream was on and asked if they could see him.
"im sorry he's not taking visitors at the moment, because he is talking with someone. at around 6 you can see him if you please ?"
"yeah i'm good with that, i have another question though a nurse here told me that he might need a surgery in the next couple of days, will he need one ?"
"mhm, he's going to need one. we have him in here for 7pm tomorrow, although i'm going to have to tell you it's a risky surgery that he might not make it out alive from but it's the only option he has if he's going to have a chance at living"
