Four Blade of Marmora soldiers were in a Galra Base in the outskirts of the Solar System they were in. They had the high ground and were not yet noticed by the Galra Soldiers. They watched as a Galra Cruiser had entered the base's dock, this base was underground so only the top half of the ship was seen.

"We destroyed the Komar, how are the Galra still producing such vast amounts of quintessence? Find out where it's coming from and where it's going." The leader of the four soldiers told one of the first teammate, the leader then turned around to the next two and said, "Get a reading on the shipment, you cover him. And remember, this is purely intelligence gathering, nothing else. So do not engage, I repeat do not engage."

The two soldiers nodded and left to do their mission. The two soldiers had made it and sent the information to the leader of the group, "Impossible. It's overloading my monitor." The leader said into their comms, "I've never seen these kinds of readings before..."

As more information was being sent to the leader, the two soldiers were about to be discovered, one of them threw their blade at a Galra Robot which deactivated them upon impact but the Galra soldier had started shooting as it died.

"The mission has been compromised, abort! Extraction point in two doboshes."

All four soldiers were making there way to the ship trying not to get hurt/injured in the process.

The leader had made it first then the other two soldiers, but the first soldier that was sent out had not made it back.

"He's not back?"
"He's got 30 ticks."

One of the soldiers had then ran back for the last teammate as the ship was getting ready to take off. As soon as the doors were about to close, both soldiers had made it back. One of them injured but they had made it to the ship.

All four Blade of Mamora members were on the ship and had gathered around the injured member.

"Will he be alright?"
"You broke protocol."
"I had to."
"You didn't consider that something could've happened to you, that would make two men down instead of one."

All three members took their masks off and it revealed to be Keith, Y/n and Kolivan.

"Every member of the Blade of Marmora understands that the mission is more important than the individual. This isn't Voltron." Kolivan said as he crossed his arms looking at Keith, since he was the one who went back for the last teammate.

"He understands that, Kolivan; In Voltron, Keith and I would've gone back for Regris but Keith went back to save the mission. Regris still had the intel on him and Keith knew that if he didn't save him then this mission would've been for nothing." Y/n said as Keith handed Kolivan the intel and was walking away to sit down.

Both Keith and Y/n walked into the main control room to see Shiro standing in the middle looking at two different monitors.

"Keith, L/n. Glad you're back. The team is on a mission, both of you get to your lions and join them immediately." Shiro said not making eye contact with either of them.

"We will, but I think we discovered a new form of quintessence. The readings we got were too much for our monitors, Kolivan said it could be linked to Lotor." Keith said looking at Shiro with a serious face expression but Shiro didn't seem to care and still wouldn't look at them.

"We'll discuss this when you guys return." Shiro then went on to explain what the team were doing.

"What? This is Lotor we're talking about." Y/n said leaning close to Shiro, "We haven't seen him in months, this could be our chance to track him down." Y/n stated as he crossed his arms.
