Chapter 12||| The Balmera

Third Person P.O.V
Location: Castle of Lions heading to the Balmera, ???am or ???pm

"We're getting close to the Balmera and will be arriving to the planet very soon. But this mission will not be easy."

Everyone knew that deep in their minds/hearts, but they were ready to face it head on.

"So we just gonna show like— pow, pow pow! Then the prisoners will be saved? That the plan?"
"What was that noise?"
"Laser guns."

Keith looked at Lance very weirdly and so did everyone else.

"No-no Lance, it's kblam! Pow!"

(A/n: Idk what Hunk actually said so let's go with this)

"That sounded like fireworks, not a laser gun."
"But they are more like ba-choo, ba-choo, ba-choo!"

Pidge then made a finger gun and pretended to shoot.

"Enough with the sound effects! They are bad sound effects. Besides it's like, blam, blam, blam!"

Shiro did the same thing as Pidge, he made a finger gun and was pretending to shoot. Allura looked at Coran on what to do but he just shrugged.

"What!?"
"You're crazy, that's not it!"
"Absolutely wrong!"

Y/n couldn't help but laugh.

"Okay, okay, okay. We need to focus on what's on hand. Plus the sound effects weren't even that good."

"Besides, we can't just shoot the galra, the planet looks almost alive." Everyone looked at Hunk very confused.

"And for what I've seen, it's not looking too good." Coran then showed the Balmera on the main screen.

"It's horrible, that this grand beast is going through so much. Taking its life force, the crystals and without trying to heal the Balmera." Coran then pulled up a picture of the Balmera on one of the main screens.

"After I saw Shay's people enslaved it just made me realize, how heartless Zarkon is. And we are the only ones to stop him."

The room fell silent, not a word. The only thing that was heard was the engine on the castle. Shiro broke the silence.

"That means we can't go blasting into the tunnels."

Everyone nodded but still needed a plan.

"Plan B we get the galra into space and we start battling them out there."
"Or! We all split into groups and attack the big mining stuff on the surface so the galra can come and protect it. Then we beat them up and go back to save the Balmera and boom Voltron saved the day."

Hunk then smiled as he said his plan, he was proud of it.

"But how do we know how many are left in the tunnels?"
"That's easy, we can pin point the location of the galra on the Balmera by using Biothermal Life Indicator Point technology."

No one knew what that was, only Coran and Allura but Pidge somehow knew.

"BLIP tech!!" Her eyes sparkled while looking at the so called, "BLIP" technology.

"One of you will have to fly around the Balmera and drop sensors on the shafts of each side, making us see where the galra on the Balmera are on the planet. There is already some in your suits."
"I can do it, I made modifications to the green lion with some new abilities. And one of them was the invisible maze's cloaking which can be used to fly around the Balmera unseen."

While everyone was talking about the plan, Coran and Y/n was looking up where the main power generator was to make it easier for the team.

"Found it! That is the main power generator," Y/n then zoomed on a picture of how it looked like. Coran and Y/n gave each other a high five, somehow Coran knew what that was. "Take it down and that will weaken its defenses." Y/n said while he continued to look at the screen.
