Chapter 33||| The Headquarters

Third Person P.O.V
Location: Castle of Lions, 12 pm

"Coran, how far are we from the Blade of Marmora's base?"
"Based on the coordinates Ulaz gave us we should be there within a few doboshes."

"I can't wait to see it, I mean they were able to fold space-time and that was only on an outpost!" Pidge said putting her hands in the air in excitement.

"The space taco, I remember. It left us too early."
"My point is just imagine how amazing their home base will be!"
"Exactly, it can take any shape. Like a space jelly donut, or a long, like a space éclair."

Hunk continued to describe in detail different types of food the base could look like.

"Aw! Now, I'm hungry for breakfast."
"Guys this is a serious mission, we need to focus."

Lance then mocked Keith as his arms were crossed.

"We are in range of the base."
"Take us in slowly.
"That might prove the tiniest bit of a challenge."

As the ship got closer to base they noticed that it's not a ship, Y/n and everyone else were shocked.

"Is that a black hole?"
"No, no, no, no, I believe that it's 2 black holes and in the middle a giant blue star."
"That doesn't make it better."

"No kidding." Pidge said as her face expression turned serious, "Just inside a black hole, the temperature inside that black hole is one millionth of a degree above zero. But just outside of that, it's hundreds of millions of degrees Celsius."

Y/n in shock/amazement had zoomed into what he was looking at it.

"Y/n, where's the base located at?"
"Well, it's in between those three deadly celestial objects."

Y/n was just staring at the base for a few minutes that he didn't notice Hunk, Lance, Keith and Allura were arguing. Y/n just looked forward at the base when some purple text had come up on the main screen.

"Identify yourselves."

The voice stated as everyone just looked at the screen.

"Coran, L/n, open a hailing frequency."

Both Coran and Y/n had put a thumbs up as they started to type. Y/n looked at Shiro and nodded.

"We are the Paladins of Voltron, sent here by Ulaz."

There was a few seconds of silence as everyone were holding their breaths. Alina just looking at the screen then back at Y/n who seemed worried that they won't let the team in when,

"Two may enter, come unarmed."

The base then sent coordinates on how to get to the base safely without dying. Coran then explained how careful you need to be to get in the base.

"Yeah, Keith you're coming with me."

Lance had then started to argue with Shiro and got very close to him. Y/n kinda wondered why Lance would want to go on this mission.

"Zarkon still has a strong bond with the black lion and Keith's lion can handle heat."

Everyone agreed but Lance was still salty.

"Stay safe,"

"We will. Don't worry,"  Shiro said as he then let go of Y/n's hands and gave him a comforting smile. Y/n smiled back as Shiro then left.

Keith and Shiro were on their way to the Blade of Marmora base, Keith seemed to be very serious and very tense. Shiro had noticed and worried why.
