Chapter 30||| Another Round of Shopping

Third Person P.O.V
Location: Castle of Lions, 1pm

"Okay look, we now know that Zarkon is tracking us through the black lion. We have to find out a way to stop him."
"How are we gonna do that?"

"This situation has never happened before, two Paladins battling for a lion."

Everyone stood there in silence not knowing what to say.

"Well, unless we want Zarkon taking control of Voltron every time we get close...I'll have to make a stronger bond with the lion. One stronger than his."

Everyone agreed and nodded, "While you're doing that, the rest of us need to find new teluduv lenses." Coran said crossing his arms. "Otherwise we won't be able to travel through the wormhole." They all started to discuss if they even made those kinds of lenses anymore.

Y/n was already on it, he typed something in the panel he usually uses, when Coran had an idea and right on cue Y/n already had the information up in front of them.

"Black Market traders still have some being sold but they are very limited. Last time I tried buying something it did not end pretty, that's all I gotta say." Y/n said as he just chuckled to himself, he turned around and everyone was gathered around him.

"Good work, Y/n." Shiro said as he stood next to him, all he did was smile and shrug.

Coran then went on to explain his encounter with the black market traders.

"While he does that, I can buy you something sparkly." Lance said as he leaned in towards Allura. Allura kinda looked at him weirdly when Coran interrupted.

"This isn't a place where you can just idle around."
"But I like sparkly things!"

Allura said with a big smile trying to convince Coran to take her but Coran just sighed.

"Sorry Princess you can't, plus you're the only one who can operate the castle. You also need to rest, after all that's been happening."

Allura immediately frowned and started to slouch, she wanted to go and leave the castle but couldn't. Y/n looked over at her and he sighed, and decided to do something.

"Coran, you know Allura can't be trapped in here forever right?" Everyone kinda looked at Y/n confused not knowing where he was gonna take this. "You should let her go out, have some fun! With all that's been going on shouldn't she take her mind off things and maybe go buy something for herself?" Allura immediately caught on, and nodded with the biggest grin on her face.

After a few seconds of Coran thinking he shook his head and told everyone to get ready. Both of them sighed.

"Good try, Y/n." Allura said putting her hand on his shoulder all he did was shrug and sigh in disappointment.

"Alina!"
"Hm?"
"Come over here."

Alina walked over to him in confusion, "Go and 'buy' something for the Princess and for him." By "buy" he meant steal, she just smiled and giggled as she ran after the team who left the room.

"While the team does that I'll go to the hanger to strengthen my bond with my lion." Shiro had said that in a very serious tone and left both Allura and Y/n looking sad.

"What am I supposed to do?" Both Y/n and Allura said in unison, they laughed when they noticed. Y/n then left a couple of minutes.

"I guess I'll just workout?" Y/n thought to himself, "Should I try cooking? This is weird, I never had a day to myself." Y/n put his hand on his chin. He kinda stood in front of his room door. He wanted to go to Shiro and hang out but he knew that Shiro was busy with something very important and didn't want to disturb him. Y/n went walking around the castle deep in thought.
