Chapter 20||| Found

I just woke up and looked around, I saw nothing. "We crashed, great. Shiro? Come on we need to get out of here."

Shiro was slowly starting to open his eyes. As soon as he did he looked up at me.

"L/n?"
"Come on we need to know where we are."

Shiro gave a weak smile at me. I smiled back and helped him out of the chair, we got on top of the lion and looked around.

"Keith? Keith come in? We need to get to high ground."

I nodded but looked at him. We were both hurt, I didn't know what to do.

"Shiro, you okay? You're hurt, once we find somewhere safe you can rest. I'll do most of the hard work from now on."
"You're hurt too, don't forget that. We'll have to watch each other's back, together."

He said that as he placed his hand on my shoulder, I nodded at his statement as we started to walk up towards higher ground. He helped me walk because my knee was still badly injured.

"Shiro? You there?"
"Keith, I'm here. Keith."

I looked at him as he was about to fall I caught him and set him on the ground.

"Thank god you're okay, Shiro."
"It takes more then a glowing wound and a fall from the upper atmosphere and crashing on a hard pan surface, to get rid of me. So how are you?"

I rolled my eyes at him as he just chuckled and smiled at me. As they were talking I spaced off while looking around when I heard a creature. I immediately got off the ground and grabbed my bo staff when I looked down at the Black Lion which was covered by some weird creatures.

"On second thought, you better hurry."

I took a deep breath trying to ignore the pain in my knee and grabbed my bo staff tighter and got into a fighting stance.

"Stay here."

Shiro kept talking to Keith for help when I was about to attack but heard some footsteps. I turned around and saw a big purple creature that had two horns on the ends of its mouth.

"Shiro, I want you to slowly walk to me."

He got up from the ground in confusion. The creature was in between the both us. I positioned myself to the point where Shiro could easily grab my arm. When he was about to ask why, the animal let out a loud exhale then followed by a roar.

I put my bo staff in one hand and reached my hand out to Shiro, he looked at a cave that was near us and motioned to it. I nodded as he took my hand, I pulled him close to me as we slid down to the cave together. He let go of my hand to crawl into the cave.

"L/n! Hurry."

The animal roared at me as I followed Shiro to the cave. I jumped into the cave as the creatures ran  into the wall since they were too big to get in the cave.

The creatures kept trying to get in but a rock slide had covered the entrance. Shiro was laying down grabbing his wound trying to catch his breath, "We're stuck until Keith comes." I thought as I had to lay down next to Shiro since it was cramped in the cave.

"This is awkward."

Shiro gave out a small laugh as he looked at me.

"At least we're safe, at least you're safe."

I chuckled at that but then started to blush, luckily it was barely noticeable.

"L/n."
"Yeah?"
"I noticed that I didn't tell you my full name but you did."
"Oh, well it's fine if you don't want to tell me but is this really the perfect time?"
"You're right but I'll still tell you."
