Y/n collapsed in my arms, I didn't know what to do. I felt Y/n for a pulse, as I located it I felt it slow down and felt faint. "Fuck fuck fuck" I whispered to myself as I got up from the floor and ran to the castle with
Y/n in my arms.

I yelled out for the team but the castle was too big and we were scattered all around. I ran as fast as I could with each turn I took I crashed my shoulder into the walls.

"ALINA! LANCE!"

I felt hopeless, as panic started to build up as I got into the castle. I kept yelling as I entered the infirmary, I kicked down the door and immediately placed Y/n on a table as I went to a nearby tablet. I sent out a code red and alerted the team to come back to the castle.

A couple of minutes went by as the team got here as fast as they could.

"What the hell happened!" Lance yelled in panic as he ran to Y/n's side and stuttered over his words.

"Where's Pidge?"
"On her way-"

"I- What's going on??" Hunk yelled out as he saw blood come out of Y/n's mouth.

Y/n's P.O.V
Location: ???

I fell backwards as I looked at her confused.

"Dead? Me, huh? You gotta be kidding me."
"You're dying, not dead yet!"
"Like that makes it better!?"

I moved my hand away from the doorknob and immediately turned around walking back into the woods. She followed me confused with my reaction, almost like this has never happened before.

"But-but, I can't die! I have a kid, I have a team to take care of! I have a partner, Shiro!" I grew more and more frustrated with every word I said.

"Y/n, I'm sorry. This is where the road ends, this is where everything stops." She said with a melancholy tone to her voice as she followed me down the dirt path.

We reached a cliff and suddenly it was night, below us in the distance was the same cabin we were just at. The light coming out of the cabin hit the trees and gave it a huge shadow with the smell of food filling the air. She sat down by the cliff and pat the ground as to tell me to sit down next to her.

I looked at the moonlit sky when something was falling from the sky, it was snow. Each snowflake had its own design each design more complex than the other but more beautiful as well.

"Y/n, you were created for war. You grew up surrounded by violence and meaningless feuds, and it followed you till now. But it's over. You can live a life you've always wanted! You can rest now, you could decide who you want to be, you could be free."
"I won't be happy, my family is alive and still need me, as much as I need them. Shiro, Keith, Alina, Lance, the entire team, I can't do this without them. I also, don't know how to live a peaceful life, it's not meant for me."

She looked at the sky and held out her hand to catch a snowflake, she held it there as she was thinking.

"Y/n, this is really for the best. I've seen what may happen to you, it's no guarantee that these events will happen but you wouldn't survive out there. You could live a good life, an easy life here, you won't need to fight anymore. But I'll give you two options,"

"You stay here, live with your brother, get the childhood you never got and you'd get a fresh new start alongside Alina's mother. You could live a life you always envied. Or you go back there and risk your life for your other family, risk living through the future you saw here."
"You mean with the robot limbs? That was the future?"
"One of the many possible futures, yes."
"....... my brother is here? Is that him in the cabin? And Alina's mothers here too? She-I, I didn't know."
"You can stay here and tell her the many stories about her daughter and give her the closure she needs, knowing her kid was safe."
"Right there, that word."
