"Are you ready to go, Princess?" I asked Ayara as I finished fixing her shoes. She clapped her hands and cheered like she was really excited.
Today is my daughter's special day. She already turned one year and seven months old, so we're going on a small picnic for today as a celebration for her day. As we went near them, Ayara quickly went to where her traveling pillow was, pulled it, and hugged it tightly.
As we were all set and ready to go, I carried Yara on my arms and went out.
I made sure that I opened the security system of the house and locked it properly. It was just an alarm that would notify me if someone ever tried to enter the house without our knowledge. I just installed this a week ago after my encounter with the woman in red who has a pair of blue eyes in the hospital. I know that it was a threat for me, and I shouldn't play it safe. That's why, before something else happens, aagapan ko na.
I tucked Yara into her seat beside mine and securely put her seatbelts on. Mang Anton's the one who is driving, and Manang Nita's sitting beside him. Nandito kami sa backseat ng anak ko.
Mang Anton quickly drove off as we headed our way to Homoron Beach Resort in South Batan. I personally chose this place because it wasn't that far from our place, and the sand here and the sea are really a good sight. This place will give you a calming vibe, and I know that my daughter will also love this place.
It took us an hour of travel before reaching the place.
The beach wasn't that full when we fixed our things there because this month is not the summer season.
I brought out my phone and took a picture of my daughter. She's very pretty in her pink dress, nakayapak na rin siya dahil pinatanggal niya ang sapatos niya sa akin kanina.
Mang Anton went near my daughter and played with her. I just watched them with a smile on my lips as I saw my daughter happily laughing and playing. She was so carefree and beautiful.
"Anak, lumalaki na si Ayara 'no?" Manang Nita suddenly asked on my side, which made me look at her. I nodded my head in response, which made her look at me.
Aalis na ba kayo sa anino at babalik sa dati mong buhay kasama si Yara?" she then added that it also made me confused about my decision.
