I sat comfortably on the couch and faced Leila and Mattheo, who were still standing near the door, looking at me like I had grown another head. I raised an eyebrow at them, but it didn't change their expression. Seriously? What's happening?

"Did you really laugh earlier, Aki?" Leila's question made me think of what happened before we entered this room.

As I went down earlier, I heard Mattheo, Leila, and Kean talking in the dining room. Kean's bluffing about making her woman jealous and how proud he is that he succeeded made my blood boil, which made me reach my limit because I thought that he used me. I punched him in the face, and when he started to talk about the truth, when he said that he got jealous because of what Sir Venzel did earlier and how he wanted me to get jealous also, I laughed. I laughed because of what he assumed. I laugh because that is what I really felt like doing after hearing what he said.

I laughed, and that's a true one.

I just shrugged my shoulders in response to Leila's question. Hindi ko rin inakala na ang eksperesyon na iyon na nakatago sa pinakaloob-looban ko ay lalabas dahil sa pagiging assume-mero ni Kean kanina. I didn't even think that with his mere words, nabawasan ang inis ko sa kanya. I still hate what he did, but the reason he did it makes me want to laugh again.

Seriously, me? Jealous? Those words cannot be matched. Jealousy is not in my vocabulary, for crying out loud! If he thought that he could prove something by doing that, then he's wrong. I will never have any feelings towards him except disgust, irritation, and anger, because those are the only feelings that are right for him.

I glance at Leila and Mattheo, who have now sat down on the couch in front of me. I thought they wanted me to pull them; good thing nakaramdam sila.

"As I've mentioned earlier, I have a new project/mission and I will be needing your help," I started, which made the two shift to being serious.

I cleared my throat and sat properly.

"I was tasked to assassinate Javadd Mayles, a Pakistani drug lord who wants to close a partnership with the Miyahasis, so before their transaction happens, I need to kill him," I explained my project shortly. Napasandal si Mattheo sa pagkakaupo at seryosong tumingin sa akin kaya sinalubong ko ang mga titig niya.

"I'm sorry, but I can't help you. I also received one earlier, and it is connected to yours. I and my team are tasked with cleaning up this man's mess," Mattheo said, which made me nod.

Well, I was quite expecting this, but I just tried my luck. Kapag may major project ang DWS, lalo na kapag tungkol sa Miyahasi ay hindi lang palaging isa ang kikilos. One will take the major action and one will clean up, and for this mission, the major action was given to me, and Mattheo will do the cleaning since it's more fucking complicated. I just need to shoot this Javadd dead, but what Mattheo will do is remove the traces of him, and I bet, pati ang business at mga tao niya ay kailangan niyang asikasuhin para masabing malinis talaga ang trabaho.

DWS is always working cleanly and untraceably, which is why known individuals and groups trust us so much.

"I understand, so this means that we should plan this together because it is connected." Mattheo nodded in approval.

Sunod na binalingan ko si Leila at nakitang hinihintay niya lang na magsalita ako. I like how she looks now. Gone her playful and bratty aura. Mas mukha na din siyang nag-matured dahil sa pagkaseryoso ng itsura niya ngayon.

"Leila, I need your help to hack the call connection of this Javadd and whoever Miyahasi he's talking to." Her brows furrowed.

"It's kind of complicated because you know that we need at least one end to find the proper connection, but I'll try to study this one so we can succeed." Alam kong komplikado ang gusto kong mangyari dahil miski ako na nag-aral tungkol sa hacking ng mas matagal ay hindi alam kung magagawa ba iyon nang tama, but then, kung hindi man namin magawa then I'll plan for something else. The major plan for my project is to kill that Javadd, dagdag na kung malaman namin ang ilang impormasyon sa Miyahasi.
