I don't know what's happening to me, but to think that I agreed on Kean's invitation to watch a movie with him makes me think I was drugged and bewitched.

Katulad kanina ay tahimik lang ako. Nasa byahe kami ngayon papunta sa mall. He's the one who's driving, and since he's new to Japan, he's using my car's GPS to follow. Katulad kanina ay wala ring tigil ang bibig niya sa kakakwento. He just gained his energy because we just ate kaya todo ang kwento niya. He's just telling stories about his car-racing experiences.

He told me that when he had accidents before, Ms. Audrey was the one who was tasked with covering them up for his parents because they believed and trusted her so well, and in return, Ms. Audrey would get what she wanted from him. I smirked at that thought. It's a win-win situation for Ms. Audrey. I am looking forward to her reign on DWS when the time comes because I know that she will be wise and good.

"I lose races too, pero hindi ko iyon kinakahiya. Losing doesn't mean that I'm not good. It is just a moment of where and when should I reflect on where I lack in order to gain it next time." I nod my head because I am agreeing with what he said.

Your competetor is only a step advance than you. Sa buhay naman talaga ay hindi pwedeng puro panalo ka nalang, just like how my life is. I was raised to be a perfect child, na walang kahit sino o ano ang dapat makatalo o makauna sa akin, but what can I do? I am still a human being. Kahit nga ang mga pinakamagagaling at malalakas sa mundo ay nakakaranas ng pagkatalo. It was a part of living. Losing can help someone grow.

When we reached the mall's parking, hindi kami nahirapang makapasok dahil na rin sa familiar sticker na nasa kotse ko kaya kahit nadetect na may kakaiba rito—probably my gun, ay hindi na kami hinarang. That's DWS' connections. Our cars, motors, and even our bodies are marked by DWS.

Kean quickly saw a parking space near the mall's entrance, but I told him to choose a farther one. Mahirap na rin kasing nasa malapit lang dahil hindi mo masasabi ang disgrasya. I wouldn't risk my car. Hindi ko naman iniisip ang gagastusin, pero ang inis at pasensya na uubusin ko kapag nangyari iyon ay hindi biro.

When Kean successfully parked my car, I quickly went out and walked towards the entrance. I heard my car honk as Kean locked it. I can feel Kean's presence behind me; that's why I know that he's following me. We use the rscelator because it will took us time for the elevator. Hahanapin pa namin kung nasaan ang cinema.

"Anong showing ngayon?" Kean asked as he stood beside me. Nilingon ko siya saglit at nakitang nakatitig na pala siya sa akin. I shrugged my shoulders.

Do I look like someone who'll search the internet for that? "I don't know. Let's just check it." Hindi kami nahirapan na hanapin ang directory ng mall dahil pagdating sa ground floor ay nasa tapat na agad iyon ng escalator.

Kean let me use it because it was in Japanese characters. I searched first for the cinema and saw that it's on the topmost floor of this mall. Tinandaan ko nalang kung nasaan ang daan tapos ay pinakita ko kay Kean ang movies na showing. Lahat ay puro Japanese movies dahil walang international movie ang showing as of now. There are six movies showing in total, some are romance movies, historical, and action.

"There's an English subtitle for the movies, right?" I looked at him and frowned because of his question. So he still wants to watch it even though it is in another language? I can't believe him. Napailing nalang ako at binaling ulit ang tingin sa directory at inayos ang setting para maging English ang language, and after that, I let Kean use it. I just stared at the screen he was navigating and waited for him to finish.

He silently read the synopsis of every movie. His brows are furrowed, and he looks so damn serious about what he's doing. Ngayong mga oras na ito ay nawala ang pagka-playful ng aura niya. All I can see now is a serious man.
