Yoongi's subordinates had never seen his eyes particularly adorned with such dark, overshadowing circles from beneath. He probably had stayed the night wide awake or so, as all of them assumed. Not matching his gaze with anyone— which was sort of a daily ritual for his warm eyes to carry out— he had actually left everyone worried over him.

He had never been like that, then what precisely caused him to behave in such a manner out of the blue?

As he continued to puff, and slam his head into his two palms alternately, Eunbi began to contemplate if what she did last night was ethically appropriate or not. For sure, she had no intentions of distressing Yoongi, all she desired was to oust that terribly pretentious Juhui from her man's life. However, the scene unfolding in front of her was not helping in consoling her own self, at all.

After hacking into Yoongi's social media ID last night, thanks to her extremely competent acquaintances belonging to the field that should not be a thing to boast about, Eunbi had sent a long and descriptive message to Juhui asking her to break up with Yoongi.

The catch being, it was Yoongi's ID that she had used to deliver her wishes.

LAST NIGHT

"Juhui? What are you doing here at this hou—"

"Why? Am I not allowed to visit you at night? Asking me so makes your relationship with that junior of yours even more questionable. You do realize that, right?" Juhui snapped, not letting Yoongi complete his question.

"Ah, what are you even talking about..." Yoongi trailed off when he realized that Juhui did not arrive at his place to listen anything.

She had only come there to inquire and suppose, and so Yoongi decided to comply with her aggressive approach. She had never gotten angry with him, would that make his conclusion of giving her the freedom to irrationally yell at him, rational?

"Come on, let's talk insid—" Yoongi gently held Juhui's arm, only to get yanked away by her once again. Widening his eyes at her, he could not decipher what exactly was making her fume like that, which was apparently very unlikely of her.

"Care to explain this, Yoongi? When I had stopped by the station in the evening, you were exceptionally affectionate towards me. Was that so because you were eyeing for the perfect timing to break up with me? Is it because of that Eunbi girl? Can weeks of working together replace our years of being together that easily? Was our bond that weak?" At her last word, Juhui broke down as if she would cry like there was no tomorrow.

Yoongi was still confused, though despite being in such an unstable state, he nonetheless advanced his attempt at knowing what did she mean by all of that.

Wrong move, indeed.

A cold, tight slap was marked across one of his cheeks by Juhui. Placing his palm over the afflicted spot, only to feel the sting in a worsened intensity, Yoongi gripped the female's arm once again as she prepared to retrace her steps in order to leave. He looked into her eyes for one last time, hoping that she would at least tell her about what the hell was going on for her to react in such a way.

"Bomin was right. I should've stopped the two of you while it was still in my hand. But I guess I was wrong trusting you, Yoongi. You were a coward to have broken up with me through a text on social media. But anyway, I call it quits from my side as well." Juhui detached Yoongi's grasp on her arm, addressing him for what she reckoned would be the last time, "And I don't want to hear from you, ever again."

Yoongi stood planted on his own spot, with his feet seeming as if they had gotten stuck in a marsh. He could not stop Juhui from leaving his side. Damn it, he could not even blink his eyes anymore. Tear kept on emerging in those two hazel orbs of his, only to flow freely down his cheeks. He was not even bothered about wiping them now.

Because strangely enough, what Juhui said while parting her ways with him, surprisingly had brought loads of memories back to Yoongi.

After all, it was something that he had spoken to a person himself as well, and that too not too long ago.

PRESENT

Eunbi had merely placed two soft knocks on the door to Yoongi's office that the latter uttered a feeble "Come in," almost immediately.

The pattern that she used to regularly follow to seek entry into his room had unexpectedly grown onto Yoongi. To be honest, her positivity-laden eyes and an overall lit-up face was something that the male used to look forward to, on a daily basis. Now that he had managed to understand it all, it kind of seemed absurd to him, leading him to dismiss the apparent longing for Eunbi as an aftermath of the breakup that his loving relationship had to go through.

"Are you fine, sir? Because your face clearly says otherwise..." Eunbi hesitantly spoke up, while still staying at the threshold. She was unsure regarding the slim chances of her sympathy not being misunderstood by the man, the only reason why she kept herself restricted to the entrance.

Yoongi, with a curveless smile on his face, swayed his head in an obvious manner. His eyes soon strayed off to the chairs that were placed in front of his desk, which Eunbi took as a signal for herself to get seated down. Casually rubbing his hands together, he had been obliviously exhibiting the perplexity that he was undergoing. And as quick-witted as Eunbi had always been, she had managed to notice his suggestive gesture right away.

But before she could say anything, Yoongi beat her to it.

"Juhui... broke up with me. I don't—  I don't know why I'm telling you this, but you remind me of someone. Someone who understood me better than I, myself, could ever. My encounter with her was the best thing that has ever happened with me. I realize it now that I'm in her shoes." Yoongi sighed with a smile still plastered on his face. He did not feign it this time, though. An unusual satisfaction was discernible through his expression.

"I'm sorry but who are you talking about, sir?" Eunbi pursed her lips in anticipation.

Underneath the cover of the table-top, making sure that Yoongi did not happen to see her, she was fidgeting with her fingers relentlessly out of anxiety. Anxiety about a particular matter which she did not want to come true.

"Do you remember that friend of mine whom I had once told you about... that you share names with her? I got to recall her last name finally. Turns out you both really are name-twins. Nam Eunbi," Yoongi paused, amusement flitting across his countenance upon registering a startled Eunbi, "Nam Eunbi was her name."
