Yoongi had never imagined a girl to look this beautiful while doing the smallest of tasks. The female on whom his gaze had been stuck for the last couple of minutes, was merely browsing through the variety of flowers that were youthfully blooming in the garden. Whenever she passed by a flower which unusually intrigued her, she would crouch down on the ground and sit beside it, as if lending it her ear to become its human confidante.

Yoongi did not realize but he was persistently smiling ear to ear, unable to bring himself to arrive at a conclusion. To be honest, he had never been so confused regarding his perspective on someone, but this girl was definitely making it harder for him. He had earlier assumed her to be just goofing around, but the way she delicately hopped from flower-to-flower pointed at some other-worldly kind of elegance that she must have possessed. An elegance that just could not go hand-in-hand with clownery.

Mustering up whatever residue of courage that he was left with, Yoongi approached the girl in the hope that he would not mess up their first ever meeting. Clearing his throat when he considered himself to be near enough to her, he would not be lying if he said that he got awestruck as soon as the girl's eyes landed on him.

With widened eyes and a gaping mouth, both of them looked like a mirror image of one another. No distortions and no distinctions made it seem like as if they would fit perfectly in the case of each other's bodies. Yoongi was a weakling when it came to talking to girls. It was almost an impossible of a task for him to befriend a female. On top of that, he never cared to improvise his situation either. But this girl seemed to be alluring him into stepping out of his comfort zone. She made it so easy for him to turn the probability of them being friends into solid reality.

Breaking the silence with a meek smile, the girl was just about to open her mouth when Yoongi had interrupted her.

"I'm Yoongi... Min Yoongi. I'm new here and have no friends— which is, uh— obvious, I think? I don't wanna waste two years of mine staying friendless. So, would you like to be my friend?" Yoongi stuttered, mentally facepalming himself simultaneously because of the very matter.

"Of course, Yoonki! I'm Nam Eunbi, and I'm one of the oldest inmates of this orphanage. It's more of like a duty for me now to make the new ones feel comfortable. So... yes, I'll be glad to be your friend!" A stark contrast to the way Yoongi had introduced himself was this girl named Eunbi.

She was bold, and yet so gentle. She must be housing innumerable contradictions within herself, one of which Yoongi had already confronted. The fact that the girl was a living paradox was attracting him towards her even more.

"Uh, by the way, it's Yoongi. You see, it's soft." Yoongi emphasized on gi as he corrected the girl, earning a distasteful look from her.

"The new recruit said that you wanted to see me because of some team stuff?" Bomin snapped Yoongi out of his trance, causing the latter to jerk his vision right at him in a flash.

"Huh? Ah, the team stuff... the fuck is a team stuff?" Offering a judgemental side-glance, Yoongi picked up, "Since there are two to three new recruits now and we haven't taken them out on a team dinner yet, I was wondering if you had even considered planning to conduct one anytime soon." He remarked sarcastically, clearing his throat as soon as he finished.

Abruptly pushing himself off the chair that he was sitting on, Bomin bowed before Yoongi prior to taking leave from his office only to bump into a female who, in no sense, belonged to the station.

"Juhui? What are you doing here? How many times have I told you that this place isn't a shopping mall that you can drop by anytime you wish—"

"Leave that brother-sister squabble for home. Let her come in this time, Bomin." Yoongi mumbled obliviously, but loud enough for Juhui to stick out her tongue at Bomin and irk him even more.

"We don't even live together, Yoongi..." Bomin trailed off wearily as he swayed his head in disappointment, and headed out of his superior's office in an instant.

As he settled himself back in his chair, he wished he had not snuck a peek at the one sitting next to him.

For if boundless rage could have its own personified form, it would definitely be Eunbi.
