Yoongi had never felt so hesitant examining a crime scene. He still had not called it an official investigation yet, even though he was very well aware of the consequences such kind of stalling brought along with itself. With pupils slightly shaking, he could now experience a foreign feeling invading his mind. Yoongi had supervised dozens of cases in the last few years, but trepidation was something that he had never undergone. Then why was he getting bothered by it out of the blue, and letting it affect him for the worse?

Not much different from Bomin, he too had stumbled his way across the commotion that was trying to obstruct his path. Bomin's time in Eunbi's room could have been helpful, had he not added to the already present disorder by kicking things here and there. Rolling his eyes exasperatedly with a hint of annoyance, Yoongi decided to follow into Bomin's footsteps as well. A part of him nudged him to at least make the sight of the house bearable, but that would be awfully tiresome. Not that he could disturb the setting of a crime scene anyway.

Lying atop the single bed in the room was the same photo frame that had turned out to be unfortunate enough to have been trampled upon by Bomin. The photo was still secure though, which funnily happened to have grabbed Yoongi's attention too— the same way it had attained Bomin's. Scrutinizing the now-tampered picture with narrowed eyes, Yoongi's expression suddenly jumped to the flip side. Slapping his palm against his mouth out of disbelief, he could not help but murmur a name which he apparently had not called in ages.

Though technically, and currently, that name was also the only one that had grown on Yoongi within the shortest span of time.

"E—Eunbi? What is our photo doing at Eunbi's..." Yoongi's voice faltered when the plain confusion regarding not being able to interpret the relation between the picture and his subordinate began to mask his features. Though momentary, the tension had worked itself to send Yoongi on edge, leading him to loosen his collar in the process.

And then the flickering bulb went off.

"Holy shit!" Yoongi exhaled all the air out of his lungs, corresponding it with a gulp descending down his throat.

Yoongi was not feeling wronged in any way. The fact that Eunbi was able to deceive him with just an alteration in her face, without even minding to change her name, was what had been troubling him more. Further aggravating his worry, he got reminded of how he had parted ways with Eunbi on a bad note. There were great chances of her approaching him just for the sake of revenge, provided how she came back to him after seven whole years. If that happened to be the actual case, Yoongi still would not have time to fret about his own life, for the guilt of being unable to protect his loved ones was already eating him inside out.

With a petrified face still accompanying him, he combed through the drawers nearby Eunbi's bed. While rendering his services throughout the years, the most general characteristic of crime scenes that he came across was people hiding their valuable possessions close to their reach. Though that also made them an easier find, but does not human psyche unintentionally tread along the same, usual path? It was as simple as that.
