"Oh," was the only word that Eunbi could utter.

She was the one whom Yoongi had referred to, Eunbi was certain about it. But how was she to avert from the ongoing topic? She had to come up with something that could challenge the unease that was building around, or else what she had planned for her near future would cease to exist even prior to its implementation.

"I was thinking if i—"

"Did you make sure that your account is verified? Have you followed the verification procedure properly? If not, then that should be the first thing for you to be doing right now, sir." Eunbi interjected, leaving Yoongi still, with slightly parted lips and a confused gaze.

The girl's speech reflected her haste to get done with the discussion already, which Yoongi had managed to comprehend despite the subtlety. Maybe it was because she felt uncomfortable getting compared with someone who had been close to him in the past. Maybe she did not want herself to be affiliated with anyone's past, let alone Yoongi's. Or maybe it could just be due to her still being intimidated by the male's status.

Yoongi had cackled at his last thought rather silently, but even that could not save him from the questioning look that had now overtaken Eunbi's expression.

"You don't need to worry about that, Miss Nam. As soon as I realized that it was a hacker who did such a lowly task, securing all my accounts became my priority. It's sad indeed how Juhui fell into that person's trap, but I don't intend on beating myself up for her stupidity. Everything happens for good, anyway." Yoongi matched his vision with Eunbi's again, ensuring her that she did not have to worry anymore. Although, the dull glimmer in his eyes had made it explicitly clear to the female that his words and emotions were not truly congruent.

"What do you mean? Won't you go and explain the situation to her—"

"No." A brusque response came from Yoongi's side, which he followed by passing yet another smile at Eunbi, "I don't see the need of it. There's no point in dedicating myself to her when she doesn't even trust me a tad. I'd like to move on from such toxicity."

A wide grin crept onto Eunbi's sharp features, but she did not bother hiding it this time. Yoongi for sure became puzzled at first, as to what had led her to contradict her countenance in a matter of seconds. However, he decided to shrug it off when a thought struck his mind.

"Last time when we had gone for our local tour, it didn't quite turn out like how I had planned it. So, would you like to go on one with me again? You must be wanting to replace the horrid memories with some good ones too, right? After all, Itaewon is a wonderful locality. I don't want you to frame a negative picture of it in your mind." Yoongi suggested as he leaned onto his table with hands clasped in front of him, baffling Eunbi with his sudden movement.

Nonetheless, after taking some time of her own, Eunbi finally became stable enough to respond to his proposal, "I don't think that would be possible tonight, sir. I have some plans of my own. I'm sorry."

With a displeased smile manifested on his face, Yoongi nodded slightly, signaling Eunbi of his acknowledgement.

Donned in an overall black attire, Eunbi had been strolling around the tunnel from where her designated victim was supposed to pass through. The interior of the structure, whose entrance she was circling around, was dark enough for her to escape safely once her job was done.

The acquaintances that she had earned while being an outer member of a local gang ring were perhaps the best that she had accumulated in all her life. She was an expert in tailing people and their activities, and eavesdropping on whatever could prove to be beneficial for her team— one of the reasons why her request of searching for a particular man was immediately accepted by her former team members.

Even though Eunbi had promised herself not to hurt anybody after that traumatic episode of her first killing—which Yoongi had derisively shunned— she figured that it was about time she broke her humane vow.

She had to do it anyhow, or else her life would become messier than it already was.

Amidst all these deliberations, Eunbi eventually lost track of time. It was not until a shadow had appeared to be too close to her that she realized her target had himself approached her, hence making her work even easier.

With a smirk set on her lips, she tutted at the familiar stranger, "If you had known what's laid out for you in this path, you would've never wanted to tread upon it. Poor, unaware you."

The addressed one squinted his eyes to adjust them to the darkness that had engulfed the tunnel, only to recognize the very face that he had come to loathe the most.

Enraged, he growled, "You monster! How do you still have the audacity to threaten me after killing my entire family and surviving my attack? Do you not fear death? Let me warn you beforehand that I won't let you die so easily. You must repent over your actions and beg me fo—"

Blood began to gush out from the man's mouth, compelling him to halt himself midway. With a piercing sensation in his abdomen, he trailed his hand over the same area, ultimately leading him to touch the grip of the knife that Eunbi had seemingly injected into him. He looked up with tears in his eyes—that had formed due to the excruciating pain spreading within his whole body— and witnessed an exceedingly furious girl.

"You're all talk, you know that right? Well, this is for stabbing me the other day," Eunbi paused as she neared the injured man who was somehow still on his two feet, whispering to him rather audibly, "and mistaking me for a weakling, which I'm definitely not."
