"Why do you think you'll still be welcomed here after all that you've done?" Yoongi lowkey hissed at Juhui, who had arrived at his doorstep unannounced.

After an exaggeratedly long day at work—where he was also made familiar with the hideous truth that his ex had supposedly been hiding from him— Yoongi had been sensing a repulse within him regarding meeting with anyone. Juhui definitely topped that list— one of the main reasons why he had aimed such a spiteful question at her.

"I'm not here to talk or apologize, if that's what you were expecting. I'm here to inform you of the reality, something which that strange girl has successfully barred you from knowing. She has tied a fucking blindfold around your eyes, are you seriously that dumb not to have noticed that?" Juhui spat back with her fists balling-up simultaneously, displaying the genuine distaste she was having towards Yoongi and his apparent secret lover, right then.

"Bold of you to be standing in my house and getting upset at me. Were you not the one who ditched me not too long ago, just this afternoon to be more precise? I'm not gonna buy your crap anymore, step back from my threshold while I'm still being nic— Yo, what the fuck?" Yoongi had to cut himself off in between when Juhui, out of the blue, pushed him slightly while trying to rush into his accommodation.

"Listen, calm down your nerves. This is not personal, this is actually a very important issue. Look," Juhui paused as she shoved her phone into Yoongi's face, causing him to flinch a bit backward. When he was finally able to readjust his vision, he came to see a very terrifying scene indeed. A figure, climbing the walls up and down like it meant nothing, and even knowing how to conceal their face from getting recorded by the CCTV cameras— if there happened to be any— was absolutely blowing Yoongi's mind away.

"Are you done watching? What say do you have on it? And oh, if you didn't bother to spot, there's this big bruise beneath my eye which I haven't cloaked with make-up right now. If you're even a bit curious about how I got that, this same person had additionally assaulted me last night. She, for sure, is an experienced housebreaker." Juhui finished, dumping her phone back into her coat's pocket.

"She? What do you mean she? Are you suggesting that it's practically a girl who's going around killing people and sorts?" Yoongi quizzed skeptically, doubting the bases that must have led Juhui to arrive at such a conclusion.

"Killing people? She's even killed a person? Not gonna lie, she has seemed very fishy to me since the beginni—"

"Dammit! Who is this she that you're referring to?" Yoongi interrupted frustratingly, scaring even Juhui as a matter of fact, due to his snarl.

"Eunbi. That subordinate of yours, Nam Eunbi. My grounds of suspicion aren't hollow though, I can justify myself. In fact, when she attacked me last night strictly because of you, who don't seem to give a shit about me, her hands were oddly attention-grabbing. Her selection of nail-paint was extremely gross, I personally don't like color combinations— specifically black and white. That was what about her hands that had hooked my interest. Surprisingly, I bumped into our lovely Eunbi today as well, and guess what? Her nail-paint was still standing out. The same colors, the same combination... it can't be a coincidence, it just can't be."

Juhui had explained to Yoongi rather convincingly, but the latter did not budge. He was persistent about her apprehensions to be lacking credibility. He was not finding it possible to bring himself to believe in her stupid theories.

Yoongi was seriously done with Juhui and her patronizing habits.

"You done? Now zip your mouth up and off you go." Yoongi said bluntly, rendering the oh-so-confident woman before him utterly speechless.

"You're sounding idiotic right now, Yoongi. Are you the same cop whom I had fallen in love with? That same extraordinarily brilliant cop? Because it doesn't seem like it anymore. Do you remember what you had told me once? Sometimes, what we know turns out to be just a drop. Whereas what we don't, often sizes up to an ocean. Get a grip, Yoongi. Just because she acts like a good person doesn't necessarily mean that she's good." Juhui's volume unknowingly reached an octave higher when she eventually got tired of persuading the person who seemed rather too reluctant to trust anything else except for his self-made perceptions. Retrieving a flash drive from the same pocket that she had kept her phone in, Juhui extended it towards Yoongi, beckoning him to accept it.

"Just so you end up deleting the evidences, you better be aware that I have a copy of them with me too. Pull yourself together, Yoongi. You're not the type to be swayed from your job." Juhui's voice shuddered whilst reaching the end, probably because of the tears that were choking her.

Taking a sharp breath in, she once again walked past Yoongi. The male felt a little taken aback when their shoulders collided during the process, for as it looked like, Juhui had made up her mind that this would most likely be their last meeting. And actions definitely speak louder than words.

As soon as Juhui was out of his sight, Yoongi set out for his separate mission too. Clumsily shuffling through his pockets to check if the flash drive was secure with him, he hurried to the nearest bus station at the same time. If there was a possibility of Juhui not talking superficially and actually figuring out the truth, then he had to reach his station as quickly as possible. He had to find the cure to this madness before he himself went mad.
