When we got to the address, Damon parked the car off the house, near the house.

"The house should be just beyond those trees" Damon declares as Stefan and I start walking. I'm holding a crossbow that Alaric gave me in training, I would have brought the compound bow but it's to big to fit in the car. All the stakes are made of wood and coated with vervain, I added that.

Since they're made of wood, I'm wearing black fingerless leather gloves. Which might I add make me look badass.

Stefan Carries the rest of the weapons in the bag.

"Wait, I got a lot more experience than you do with those sorts of things." Damon says, stopping us.

"What is your point?" I question not wanting to hear this again.

"My point is, whoever has Elena is probably who was after Katherine in 1864 and before that." He explains.

"And?" Stefan questions. "And it puts them at 500 years old and strong. Are you sure you want to do this?"

"Yeah, I'm certain I want to do it" Damon then looks at me. "And you? Your human you'll be dead the second you walk through that door" I know what he's saying is true but I scowl at him all the same. "She's my sister" I say, leaving it there.

Damon sighs. "Because if we go in that house, we may not come back out."

Stefan nods. "Alright, then I won't come out."

"So noble, Stefan." Damon mocks.
Stefan scoffs. "I can't think of a better reason to die, but if you want to stay here, I'll totally understand" He says and walks off with me and Damon on our tail.

Damon breaks an old vase making it shatter and announce our presence. I watch from the shadows as Elena appears, held by a man. A vampire and another woman.

Stefan and Damon are moving around them with their super speed. The vampire throws Elena in the woman's arms.

"Rose." The man demands of the other vampire.
Rose looks at him. "I don't know who it is."

"Up here." Stefan calls out from above and leaves when Elijah goes up the stairs with his super speed.

"Down here." Damon calls out this time.

"Over here" I call out and when I have Elijah where I want him, I aim and shoot him with a stake and it pierces his hand. The moment he's focused on removing the stake, Damon uses to grab Rose, and Stefan uses it to grab Elena.

Stefan swiftly grabs me before he can find out where and whom it came from.

He takes us into hiding. I place a hand on my lips, mirroring Stefans actions, telling Elena to be quite.

"Excuse me" Calls our the vampire, his voice echoing across the house, "To whom it may concern, you're making a great mistake if you think that you can beat me. You can't. Do you hear that?" I hear the sound of splintering wood, meaning he's probably making a weapon.

"I repeat, you cannot beat me. So I want the girl, I'm gonna count to three or heads will roll. Do we understand each other?" He demands.

Elena nods at Stefan and me, I don't like it but it's the only chance we got. I push the vervain grenade into her hands and she goes, appearing at the top of the stairs.

"I'll come with you, just please don't my friends, they just wanted to help me out." Elena pleads.

"What game are you playing with me?" I hear him ask before I hear the sound of the grenade go off and the mans screams.

His skin burns but he heals immediately. He goes toward Elena but Stefan quickly appears and shoots him with the compressed air weapon. I rush to stand in front of Elena while also shooting at the vamp with the arrows.

It doesn't hurt him so Stefan throws the weapon and rushes at Elijah and tackles him and They fall down the stairs.

The vamp gets up immediately but Stefan stays on the floor. He goes toward Stefan but Damon appears and stakes the vamp. He pushes him against the door, impaling him, pinning him against the door with the stake. The vampire Rose appears from her hiding spot and when she sees the vampire dead, she runs and Damon tries to follow her.

"Just let her go." Elena says to him. I still have an arm wrapped around her. Damon smiles. She smiles too and goes down the stairs to go to Stefan's arms. Damon's smile falls as it's clear he thought she was gonna go to him. "Hey come here. Are you hurt? Are you okay?" Stefan asks as she embraces him. I walk down the stairs and see Damon mouth the words "you're welcome" to Elena even though he still looks defeated. I sigh and can't help but feel pity for him and embrace him.

We won.
