Caroline and I took Matt back to her place, she gave me some of her blood so my blood vessels could heal, but that is the least of my problems right now, I have no idea how I'll explain this to him when Matt wakes up. Speak of the devil, he's awake.
"Hi." He looks at his shirt. There's a lot of blood. He touches his neck.
"What the hell? Your face...And all the blood. I...I drank your blood." He rambled.
"Matt, Mattie calm down" I say as he sits up.
"You were dying. My blood healed you." Caroline explains.
"What do you mean, it healed me? How can your blood heal me?" Matt asks strainedly.
"Because that's what vampire blood does for humans, and that's what I am. I'm a vampire, Matt." Caroline confesses as she stands. He starts backing away from her and She follows him.
"No."
"But it's all going to be okay, because I am going to tell you everything, and you're going to understand why I had to keep it from you, and we're going to be fine."
"We'll be fine?!"
"Yes, because we're together and we love each other." Caroline exclaims. "Vampires. Oh, my God. Vicki, oh, my God, at the hospital, I thought that she was tripping out."
"What?" Caroline asks, confused. I mentally slap myself, I never told her about Vicki and the hospital. "Vicki, she knew about vampires, and I...What...what did you do?"
"Nothing. Nothing! Matt! Caroline did nothing to Vicki" Matt then looks at me in betrayal. "You knew?" He questions. I sigh and feel a tear coming on. "Yes. Matt I never told you cause I had to protect you"
Matt shakes his head not believing me. "I need to get out of here." He rushes out of the room but Caroline uses her speed to make it to the front door before he does and I skid to a stop behind him.
"No, no, no! I can't let you leave. I cannot let you leave." She says.
"What did you do to my sister?" Matt yells as he cries.
"Nothing! Nothing! I swear, I swear, nothing, nothing!" Caroline yells. "What did you do?!" Matt yells as he grabs a hold of her and demands answers. I grab him arm as I try to pry him off of Caroline
"You have to calm down! Matt!"
I was about to use the skills Alaric taught me to knock him out cold when Sheriff Forbes came home. "What's going on here?" She asked as she took in the sight. Matt used the chance to run out of the house without another word and I ran after him.
"Matt!" I yelled as he rushed down the street. I tried keeping up with him but eventually I lost him. I raked a hand through my hair as I spun in a circle trying to spot him.
