Elena called me because she needed help with Rose. Apparently, Mason's werewolf friend Jules, bit Rose. And as we have learned, according to the legend, a werewolf bite is fatal to a vampire.

She looks bad, she looks all pale and sick, like if she's coming down from a drug. We help her to the bed as she complains "I hate this. I'm a vampire, I haven't had a cold in five centuries"

"Just get in bed." I tell her as I help her take off her sweater, for the first time I see her bite wound and it looks terrible. All red with some black and purple like if she had a burn.

"We don't get sick. When we die, it's fast and sudden and it's certainly not drawn out in illness" She retorts as she brings the blankets up.

"You're not gonna die." Elena says trying to be positive.

"Such a human thing to say."

Elena takes a look around the room with wonder. "You've never been in Damon's room before, have you?" Rose wondered by the look on Elena's face.

There is a stack of books next to Damon's bed and Elena picked one up, it was Gone with the wind.

"Not what you expected?"

"It's just a room with a bed. Maybe I expected there to be silk sheets"

I smiled and pointed behind me with my thumb, "I'll be right back, I'm gonna get you some more blood bags"

Rose sits up, in pain when I return. "Ariel, Elena, I need more blood."

I nod and rush to her side, opening the blood bag to give her. "Yeah, of course, here."

"It's okay, everything's gonna be alright"  I assure as I give her the bag, she sits up and starts to drink but ends up throwing it all up.

"Elena!" I yell panicked as Rose keeps coughing. Elena rushes to the bathroom for a wet towel while I stay with Rose, looking back and forth between them.

"Elena!" I exclaim when Rose appears behind her. Elena whirls around and faces Rose, who in turn, grabs her and pushes her hard against the wall.

"It's all your fault, Katerina. You Katerina, you did this"

Oh my god, she's hallucinating.

"It's Elena. Rose, Rose!" I exclaim at her, trying to pry her off my sister. I have weapons in the car but I'm not about to use them on her.

"You betrayed us!"

"I'm not Katherine!"

"Elena?"

When Rose releases Elena, I slowly let go of her shoulders.

"It's me, it's Elena."

Rose comes to her senses and Her vampire face disappears.

"Oh my god Elena. I'm so sorry. I don't know what's happening to me. I'm sorry." She apologizes for attacking her.

"You're gonna be alright."

"My mind, I'm..." Rose mutters in shock and confusion as I lead her to the bed.

"It was just for a second." I say, trying to reassure her.

"I'm sorry, don't be scared of me."

"We're not. I'm not, but you need to rest."

"I'm scared" Rose confesses as she lays down and Elena puts the blanket over her.

"You're not alone. We're right here."

Rose sits up alarmed at her words "Here, where's here?"

I put a hand on her arm gently and lowered her back down "Damon's bedroom, you're in Damon's bedroom."

Rose takes one small look around the bedroom and cries "I want to go home."

"Tell us about it." I suggest, it will probably be good for her to think about anything else.

Rose smiles lightly and closes her eyes as she talks about her home "St. Austell, thirty kilometers south of London. With fields and trees and horses."

I smile "Sounds beautiful."

"When you live long enough, everything disappears. So much time wasted, I just wish I wouldn't have been so afraid"
