Crying Wolf - 2

Caroline and I were sitting at one of the tables near the pool table where Bonnie was talking to Luka. Well more like flirting.

"Hey" Jeremy greets when he comes over   "How's it going?" He asks looking over.

I frown at Jeremy "What are you doing here?"

"Bonnie called. I wanted to help. How's it going?"

We all look over at the pool where they're still talking.

"She's selling it and he's buying it" Caroline musses "She's giving him the sex smile."

"All right, Caroline. I get it." Jeremy says with jealousy.

Caroline and I exchange looks upon noting his jealousy, we both towards Bonnie with a smirk.

When Luka starts to stumble, placing his hands on the pool table to maintain his balance, Jeremy, Caroline and I get up and start heading over as Bonnie grabs his shoulders, trying to keep him upright.   "Why don't we go over here?" She suggests.

Bonnie starts to lead Luka around the pool table but Jeremy approaches them first.

"I got him. I got him."

Bonnie moves out of the way and Jeremy places Luka's arm around his shoulder and drags him away from the eyes of the bar patrons.

"What kind of witch roofie was that?" I ask Bon as we walk after Jeremy.

Bonnie smiles slightly, satisfied with her witchy abilities. "A strong one"

Bonnie and Jeremy are kneeling next to Luka's unconscious body in the living room of Caroline's house when Caroline and I enter with a load of candles in hand.

"We only have, like, an hour or two before my mom gets home, and these are all I could find." Caroline explains as we hand Jeremy the candles on by one.

"Place these evenly around the room." Bonnie orders.

I hand the remaining candles to Bonnie, who takes them and places them next to her. Jeremy begins placing the candles around the rest of the room.

"How does this work?" I ask, curious with crossed arms as I looked down at Luka.

"Um, I'll put him in a trance and ask him questions. It's like hypnosis."

"Are you sure you're strong enough for this?" Jeremy asked in a concerned voice.

"That's what the candles are for" Bonnie explains "I'll draw power from the flames."

"I'll get the matches."  I start to leave the room when Bonnie calls out "I got it."

Bonnie shuts her eyes and the candles flare up

"Never gonna get used to that" Jeremy says with a chuckle as he looks at all the candles.

Caroline smiles and places hands on hips. "Oh, come on. That's pretty hot, and you know it." I giggle at Jeremy when he smiles.

He's totally crushing.

"I need a bowl of water." Bonnie says to Jeremy flashing a smile.

"Yeah, yeah. I'll--I'll go get it".

Jeremy exits the room and when he's gone Caroline and I smile broadly down at Bonnie, who looks up at us in disbelief.

"Okay. What was that? "It's hot"?

The two of us drop down to her side and whisper "Bon, Jeremy is so crushing on you." I whisper at her, not wanting Jeremy to overhear.

"So?"

"So...What, you'd rather be with traitor warlock over here?" Caroline questions looking down at Luka.

"I'm not into Luka. It's just, you know, he understood me, and he was new and different."

"And you've known Jeremy since forever, and you only see him one way, as Elena's brother, but you're a witch, and Care's a vampire and I'm a human taking vampire hunting lessons from Ric. You know, it's not like we're in any position..."

"To be picky." Bonnie finishes, Caroline and I laugh.

"No. To judge." Caroline corrects her.

We smile at each other and then Jeremy walks back in the room with a bowl of water. Bonnie takes the bowl from Jeremy and places it on the floor by Luka's head.

"Looks like he's waking up."
