Caroline was still recovering, so Matt and I stayed the night, got nothing better to do anyway.
It's either this or go home and face the fact that John Gilbert is my biological father.
"Hey Elena" I says when I answer the phone. "Ariel it's Jeremy and John"
"What happened?" I asked noticing how frantic she sounded. "I-I don't know, Jeremy took some pills with Annas blood and John-"
"I'll be right there"

Stefan and I watch as they roll John away on a stretcher, his hand covered in bandages. When they get out of the way, Stefan and I try passing inside but the officer stops us.
"There okay" Elena assured from the stairs, he let us through and we all rushed up to Jeremys room.
"What happened?" I asked worried when I see Jeremy sitting down at his bed.
"He said that Anna gave him her blood and then he took these pills and now...I mean he looks fine but then again so do you. So, I just...I don't know."
Stefan takes Jeremy's face in his hands and examines his eyes, looking for any sign that he's turning.
"Come here. Look at me" Stefan orders as he grabs ahold of his chin. "I'm fine, okay? I feel exactly the same." Jeremy argues as he tries prying Stefan off.
"Should I call a paramedic up here? What should I do?" Elena says frantically, digging her nails into my arm with worry.
"No, he's fine." Stefan assures making the diagnosis. "You mean I'm not a vampire? Damn it!" Jeremy mutters. I look at him in surprise
"Don't say that Jeremy! Jer, why would you want that?" He stood up and faced me and Elena.
"Did you hear about Anna, what happened to her tonight? She's dead."
"Jeremy, Jeremy. Come here, sit down." Stefan pushes Jeremy back down on the bed. He grabs his face in his hands and makes him look at him.
"I am very sorry about Anna, but it's very important that you listen to me right now. With every passing moment, Anna's blood is leaving your system. If you try to kill yourself right now, you could really die."
Jeremy looks away and when he does Stefan gives him a slap to make him pay attention. "Do you understand me?!"
"Stefan..." Jeremy nods having had enough "Yeah, I understand."
"Good."
Stefan gets up and starts to slightly pace next to us.
"What about the pills that he took?" I asked worried.
"He didn't take enough to die so Anna's blood actually healed him of that." Stefan explained.
A policeman knocks on the doorframe of Jeremy's room drawing our attention. "Miss Gilbert?"
"I'll be right there." Elena tells him. Stefan looks at us both. "You two need to be at the hospital."
"But..." Elena's about to counter before he cuts her off. "No, no, no, I'll stay here with Jeremy." He assures us.
"No, I don't need a babysitter." Jeremy says annoyed. Elena and I both glance at him.
"Yes, you do."

"How's Caroline?" Elena asks, her brows wriggled in worry.
"She's weak. They don't know if she's gonna make it" Bonnie explains.
"What?" I say in shock. Elena looks at Bonnie. "Is there something that you can do, a spell or something?"
"She doesn't know how" Chimes a voice, we glance and see Damon. "Do you?" Damon asks Bonnie
"No I don't" Bonnie admits.
"No, you don't cause it took Emily years to learn a spell like that"
"Yeah but I can take down a vampire. That spells easy to learn" I roll my eyes at their banter.
"I can give Caroline some of my blood" Damon suggests to us. "No, no way" Me and Elena say in unison.
"Just enough to heal her. She'll be perfectly safe in the hospital and it'll be out of her system in a day. I can heal her"
''It's too risky" I say. "We can't agree to that"
"Do it. This is Caroline. Ok? We can't let her die'' Bonnie says. "Okay, I do this to you and I call truce" Damon tells her.
"No. But you'll do it anyway, for them" She was a valid point there.
"Okay I know this is probably the last thing you wanna do right now, but we should talk about what happened tonight" Damon says to Elena.
"I'm gonna go get some air" I say excusing myself from whatever it is they were gonna talk about.
I wander outside and take gulps of fresh air. A hand comes down on my shoulder and I jump at the contact. "Chill it's just me" I smack Damon on the arm
"Don't do that!" I hiss.
"We got to go"

When Elena opens the door the first thing we see is Stefan on the ground. "Stefan?" Elena asks, confused as we approached.
"What happened?" I asked, noticing how he was panting like he was just in a fight.
Damon answered for him.
"Katherine happened"
