Stefan took Elena to the boarding house to talk to Damon or something like that I didn't really pay attention because as soon as Isobel left I was out the door.I met Caroline at the Lockwood's where right now, she nudges me and points to her mother and carol Lockwood, we rush to them and interrupt their conversation.
"Mrs. Lockwood, uh, have you seen Matt? I thought he was working a catering shift at today's luncheon." I question.
Carol shakes her head. "No, I haven't, honey. Sorry. But if you see him, could you ask if he's heard from Tyler?"
I nod slightly. "Yeah, of course. Um, still no word from him?" I question, I feel bad for the fact that she doesn't know what her son's dealing with.
Carol sighs. "No. The note he left said he needed time to figure some things out, but I wish I knew where he was."
Caroline sees Stefan and Elena and grabs my arm.
"Um, excuse me." She says and pulls me along.
We walk over to Stefan and Elena.
"Hey. Any luck finding Matt?" Stefan asks,
Before I can answer Caroline yells out. "None. What if he tells somebody? What if he tells everybody?" Caroline whisper-yells frantically.
"No, we just gotta find him and make sure that doesn't happen."
He looks at me and Elena.
"Do you have any idea where he would be?" He asks.
I sigh. "I wish I did, but he wasn't really one to run." I say and pick at my hands.
Caroline starts getting frantic again, "You know, this wasn't how it was supposed to happen. You know, I was supposed to tell him at the right moment in the right way, and he was supposed to be okay with it because he loves me."
Elena gives her a sympathy look. "We'll help you find him. I just have to accept this thing for Jenna."
"All right. Well, call me when you're done, and we'll be out looking for him."
Caroline says as I grab her arm and rush off.
Caroline went to go look around for him elsewhere while I went home to see if he was there. The house phone rings and I run to it. "Hello?" I ask, out of breath.
"Ariel? It's me Liz. Listen Matt's with me" I breathe out a huge sigh of relief and put my hand on my chest to calm my heart. "Well Uh Where is he?" I ask. "I left him at my place. Didn't know if you were still looking for him. He's still there" Liz assures. "I'm on my way" I say and grab my keys.
When I get out the door, I felt something was immediately wrong, I whirled around to see the same guy who caused Matt's broken arm, I didn't even have a chance to react before he knocked me out cold.

"Ariel. Ariel!" Elena yells, shaking me awake.
"What's...what's going on?" I question as I sit up and hiss at the pain in my head.
I gasp when I see Isobel in the driver's seat. I turn to look at Elena. "What's happening?"
Isobel's car drives inside the cemetery and stops. Isobel's minion gets out of the driver's seat, and opens the side door. Isobel gets out of the car.
"Just because you can't be compelled doesn't mean I can't force you to come with me." She calls out to us. Elena and I get out of the car.
"So is that what happened? You were compelled to betray Katherine?" Elena asks as we walk, what did she mean by that?
"If I was, I couldn't tell you." Isobel says, putting her hands into her coat pockets.
"So you lied. You did find Klaus, didn't you?"
"Does he know about me?" I ask. "No, I made sure no one knew of your blood relation" Isobel responds.
Elena frowns "Then why is Ariel here? He knows where I am now. Are you taking me to him?" Elena asks as I cross my arms.
Isobel doesn't answer but instead walks to a tombstone and crouches down in front of it.
"What is this?" Elena and I ask.
Isobel clears some leaves from the tombstone. It reads "In loving memory - Isobel Flemming - Jan 18, 1978 - May 4, 2007"
Isobel stands up and looks at us. "My parents, your grandparents, they put it here when it became clear that the police weren't gonna find my body. They visit every week, and they bring flowers, even though there's no one buried here" she says as she looks down at the grave.
"The Isobel they knew is dead. So maybe there's a part of me that's buried here, the-the human part, the part that I abandoned when I-when I choose to become a vampire, the part that used to dream about the day that she'd know her daughters." My eyes widen in surprise at this and so does Elenas.
"What?" We questioned.
Isobel shrugs.
"And instead you got to meet the other part...The part that would betray her own flesh and blood" Isobel's phone rings and She answers.
"Yes." Isobel says into the phone as me and Elena grab each other's hand in support and look down at the tomb. "Let her go?" I hear isobel question.
"I'm done?" She hangs up with a look of relief.
"Who was that?" Elena asks. "I'm so sorry, girls. I was such a disappointment to you."
She pulls off her necklace and starts burning in the sunlight. She screams as she bursts into flames, and falls to the ground in front of her grave. Elena and I open our mouths in shock.
