I carried Nate on my back while he slept the whole way to a place we can spend the night in. He stirred in his sleep, mumbling nothings while we walked the streets after he blacked out drunk in the karaoke bar.

Apparently he drank more shots while I was on my way to the stage to first sing my song that made the entire building quiet down and fall asleep on the tables, which made me giggle at how music effects others so easily.

"Looks like this time I'll be taking you to a hotel room" I giggled.

"Did you really have to sing?" Nate sighed "You knocked everyone in that building out. I'm surprise the bartenders didn't fall asleep themselves"

"Well, it has gotten late and I wouldn't want you to drink more than you should've. You didn't really drink because of me, did you?" He sighed.

"What gave you that idea?" He must've not known what he said earlier. Fair enough. He is drunk, after all.

I rented a hotel room in one of the highest skyscraper closest to where we were walking. It's gotten late and it's better to just find the closest one, despite it being expensive "Cam?" Nate called tiredly when I walked to the elevator.

"Hm?"

"Do you really want to die?" I looked at him not fully awake, mostly having the alcohol to talk for him.

"Well, not really"

"Why do you want to die then? Are you not happy?"

"Nate" I sad smiled "we already talked about this... I am happy! But my sister-"

"Rosa will be sad when you leave and wouldn't trade a characteristic with you like you claim. She changed because she lost you the first time"

"Can we just stop talking about this?" We arrived at the floor that was available and entered the room with a king size bed "This is all that was available. Luckily I was able to convince them to give me a room without trying to over charge me" I giggled "they got so scared of me that they made it as cheap as possible if I promised I wouldn't kill them. Imagine"

"Cam" Nate groaned when I placed him on the bed "Please don't kill yourself"

"That's a lot to ask, Nate" he pulled on my hand "I have no choice"

"You do have a choice... A choice to stay" I frowned at him half asleep "Don't leave us... You have so much to live for"

"Really? Like what?" He placed my hand on his cheek.

"You could probably win that raffle you did in the Join Avenue"

"I seriously doubt I won. It already passed, I'm sure"

"You sing like an angel..." I blushed "You like to help people... You're smart and can protect others. Maybe you can be a cop with me" I giggled at that.

"Not with my history, Nate"

"Could be possible... You fund the police. You gave someone like me a job. Why wouldn't you be able to be a cop?" I sat next to him.

"If I become a cop, that means we can stay together and be partners forever" he mumbled, slowly falling asleep.

"Yeah... That would be nice" I held my heart beating fast. That would be... nice? "But you're a lot to handle" I ended up laughing, even if he was being honest and was tired "You're still pretty cool" I smiled and pet his head, watching him fall asleep.

"Oh Nate..." I held his cheek, leaning close to his face to admire how he slept "If you just knew about me, you'd never see me the same way again" I kissed his forehead and leaned away "You'd probably hate me and want nothing to do with me..." I noticed a drop of water land on his chest, later noticing that it came from my eyes.
