I sat in a tree while watching Rosa and her friends having the time of their life training and getting to know their Pokémon. I smiled at their cute young faces and looked at Oricorio staring down with them.

"It's amazing how we're able to experience this first hand. If I show myself to them, I know things will be different, but that's kinda scary" Oricorio looked at me "we'll just have to see how things end up" I leaned on the tree and closed my eyes "Remember when I couldn't stay up once the sun sets? It's crazy how safe things use to be in the route for little kids like us to be out this late" I dozed off for a bit after how much I've freaked out today. One moment I was watching everyone have fun and laughing, then heard nothing but silence. Oricorio flapped her wings to wake me up, showing me that everyone was gone.

"Huh?" I jumped off the tree and looked around "this is the moment everyone accidentally separated. I wasn't even awake to know how this happened in the first place" I heard a growing sound from somewhere. I flinched and looked around. A wild Pokémon..?

I pointed at Oricorio "Hurry and look for Rosa!" Oricorio flew off while I looked around myself, making sure this wild Pokémon doesn't cause any trouble. This must've been what happened before they separated... "Of all things... A wild Pokémon" I glared and jogged off to find anyone before Oricorio came back to me "Find them?" She flew off to lead me to where Rosa and Hugh were holding each other while Rosa was crying "Rosa!" I called, running up to her. She jumped and hurried to take my hands.

"Camie!" She cried and hugged me. I hugged her back and looked at Hugh looking at me surprised with Nate nowhere in sight "Nate's gone! We heard a growling sound and ran! I'm scared!" I pulled her away and wiped her tears away.

"Don't worry, I'll look for him" she looked surprised before I turned to Hugh "Please take care of her for me. The best thing you can do is climb a tree so you'll know you're safe"

"Who are you?" He asked. Rosa went back to hugging him and crying "Nevermind..." he held her close "I'll take care of her" I smiled and ran to another direction. I saw Oricorio leading again and eventually found a little boy crying against a tree while holding his Oshawatt. I hide behind a tree and watched him crying and scared. Nate...

"I need to stop crying... I'm supposed to be the tough one" he sniffled "I'm going to be a police one day! I-I..." he sniffled and hugged his Pokémon close. Poor thing... He was so little back then. It makes me sad to see him like this.

I took a deep breath and walked over to him with a hankie I packed today for this moment. He looked up confused to see me offering him my hand "Are you okay?" I smiled "Don't worry. Let's get out of here" his eyes widened before hurrying to take my hand and stand up. He quickly wiped his face so he could pretend he wasn't crying, but I gave him the hankie anyway.

"I'm glad you're okay" I smiled, watching him staring at me while his Oshawatt tried reaching for the hankie. He didn't say anything, but I knew he was thinking I'm Rosa at the moment. It's too dark to see the color of my hair and eyes, so I let it be and offered my hand "Let's get back. It's too dangerous out here-" we froze at the sound of growling. I kept Nate behind me while I looked around for whatever that noise was coming from. This never happened in our childhood!

"Oricorio!" I called, watching her fly to stand in front of us "Use-" the Pokémon that was growling came out the darkness and into the light. I stopped and relaxed my body "Keldeo?" I went over to it to pet its head, hearing the growling sound coming from its stomach "That's embarrassing" I giggled and took out some berries I packed for the road "You scared us"

"Ke!" It smiled. This Pokémon must know who I am like Oricorio. I waved it goodbye after it ate and turned to Nate watching me amazed, which made me chuckle "Now that that's done" I offered my hand "Let's go get the others and head home. It's too dark for kids like us" he took my hand and followed me to where Hugh and Rosa should be hiding.
