*Chapter 21: Home

I thought I would be excited to get on a plane and cross Twist mountain, finally, when Skyla finally finished what she had to do yesterday, but as we flew over the clouds, I had to think over what would actually happen once I arrive home.

My childhood home isn't exactly in Lentimas Town, but a bit farther where the mountain was. It wouldn't be wise to let Nate in to see where I grew up in, but from how worried he's been, I may not have a choice.

After what felt like a few hours, we finally landed! Skyla was the first to get out so she can open the door for us. Juniper walked out before us and Nate jumped out to help me step out. Instead of taking his hand, I jumped into his arms and felt him spin me around when I swung my legs too fast.

"Hey! Watch it!" He glared, putting me down. I laughed and jumped off to smell the volcanic air and immediately coughed when some ash entered my nostrils.

"Careful" Juniper giggled. I coughed onto my sleeve and saw that Skyla was watching something black splash on me. I just smiled at how confused she looked, and turned to Juniper looking around.

"I'm coming!!" Bianca finally got out the plane and accidentally fell on the ground "I'm okay!" She stood up with her hands covered in scrapes and blood.

"Oh Bianca, you need to be more careful!" Juniper frowned.

"Seriously. You could had broken your nose like last time" I giggled. Bianca nervously laughed and rubbed her head embarrassed.

"Sorry! Sorry!" I took out my kit to help her clean up.

"Well, I suppose I should tell you why I brought you here" Juniper said "aside from you wanting to travel forward, Cheren told me enough about you and I think it's fine to trust you with this information. He told me that a group of people calling themselves Team Plasma are planning to use the legendary Pokémon to take over the Unova region"

"Sounds familiar" Nate said.

"As you may know, in the Unova region, there are two legendary dragon-type Pokémon: Zekrom and Reshiram, but two years ago, Zekrom and Reshiram each recognized a trainer as a hero. They are following those trainers. So Team Plasma shouldn't be able to use the dragon legendary..."

"That's true- ow!" Bianca winched when I applied pressure on the wound when cleaning it "there's no way of telling what they're planning" Juniper nodded.

"There is much we don't know about Zekrom and Reshiram, that's why I want to hear what Opelucid city's gym leader, Drayden, has to say about this" I looked at Nate looking down when hearing the city's name "he's a dragon type gym leader, so he might know something" Juniper faced me and Nate "So, we're finally to the reason why I brought you along. I want you to go to Opelucid city and hear what Drayden has to say"

"Us?" I pointed at myself.

"We don't have time for that" Nate said. I held his chest "What is it?"

"It's the least we can do, Nate. Besides, I said we shouldn't worry about Rosa. We should just help her" he leaned close to my face.

"Seriously, Cam. What do you know?" I turned back to Juniper, ignoring him.

"Count us in!" Juniper smiled.

"Thank you! It's really best not to get involved with Team Plasma to start with. But still..." she held her chin. I held my chest and stepped up.

"I want to finish what my cousin couldn't. I have no problem getting involved, so lay it on me" I slapped Nate's chest, knocking some air out of him "We'll get the job done" he groaned at me.

"Fantastic" Juniper smiled "Hearing what Drayden has to say about the dragon legendary will be really interesting, and more importantly, it will help fill up the pages on your Pokédex!"
