camp fires around camp illuminated all of tonDC with an orange and yellow glow. walking into back to the main area of camp with tarri's little hand fitting loosely in my, i cold see his footsteps starting to get sloppy and he was obviously getting tired if his brown eyes had to keep blinking multiple times in order to stay open. 'where about's do you live?' the little boy shrugged his shoulders and i sighed. looking up and around trying to see if anyone recognised the little boy. "tarri!" i heard a voice of distress and looked in that direction, seeing an old woman with braided hair and tattoos on her face walking in our direction aggressively. i noticed how stiff tarri went after just hearing her voice and how he kind of shifted himself behind my legs. "where have you been? I've been looking for you for hours!" she was standing there in front of me with furrowed brows and wide eyes. tarri went to say something only to be cut off "come on then, we have to be up bright and early tomorrow for you're training" she reached forward and grabbed tarri's hand from mine, completely ignoring my presence but before i could say something she was storming off in the direction of some huts with tarri's arm tightly clasped in her hand.

i stood there for a few seconds, starring in the direction that the lady stormed of in, wondering if tarri would be alright. feeling a presence behind me i slowly turned only to face bright green eyes of the commander, a very stressed and angry looking commander. raising a brow she snatched my hand and started pulling me in the direction of her tent and i followed along quickly not wanting to anger her anymore. she pushed the flap too the side, the guards standing there stood emotionless, starring straight ahead.

 she pushed me more into the tent and the warmth was nice compared to the chilly weather outside. "what were you thinking?" she said loudly, a storm of emotions n her eyes. i raised a brow not knowing what she was talking about. 'huh?' she sighed and let go of my hand but remained in front of me. "did our conversation mean anything to you? you cant just go wandering around wherever, i had no idea where you were y/n!" she was upset and frustrated. i made an 'oh'expression understanding what she was talking about. 'i-' "no, just...ugh" she let out a groan then started pacing "anything could of happened to you y/n, i didn't know where you were, i had people looking for you only to see you walking back to camp holding hands with a little goufa" she stopped pacing and starred at me. 'i'm sorry, i wasn't thinking about that. i just...' i didn't know what to do, do i tell her about hestia? why am i making this so much more of a problem, whats it matter if I've been hanging out with a bird?. 

"i think you should go back to Arcadia" she said and i looked at her in disbelief and she sighed. "you'll be safer there, inside the gates or the ark. Arcadia has the same weapons as the maun, fight the enemy with their own weapons" she explained while nodding her head. 'lexa, i can defend myself' she was silent for a few seconds "i know but I'd feel better knowing you're safe, you've nearly died from a bullet once, I'm not gonna let it happen again" i sighed knowing that there was no way to change her mind because of how stubborn she is. i nodded and looked back at her and noticed a small smile on her lips. "thank you" i nodded "you'll leave just before the meeting that'll start by noon" i sighed with a nod 'goodnight lexa' i started walking towards the exit of her tent "reshop y/n" i didn't respond only walked out and headed for my tent.

Clarke pov

"clarke, it's alright to be afraid! someone tried to kill you today" finn said to me while i walked around in medical and this conversation was really starting to annoy me "yeah but i didn't! they missed" i said back harshly "clarke" he said in a disapproving tone "it's just another day on the ground, right?" i sent her a forced smile with a raised eyebrow and he sighed and looked down, i could tell he was abut to start talking about it again but i beat him to it "look, i have to go check on raven and see what she has for us about the mountain" i didn't give him a chance to reply as i walked straight out of medical and made my way towards the workshop where raven was working
