after Abby convinced me to check out the stuff she found in my fathers room she led me through the ark but in different directions than usual. 'I haven't see these halls before' i thought to myself as Abby led me past doors i was unfamiliar with. "just a bit further and we should be there" Abby said as she walked at a steady pace and i walked slightly behind her. we walked for a few more minutes until Abby abruptly stopped walking right in outside a set of doors that had a small piece of paper tapped to it that said 'Jason'. "here we are" the older griffin said while starring at the door before glancing at me and nodding. "I'll just wait out here, take as long as you need" nodding my head at what she said, i stepped closer to the door, taking a deep breath with my eyes closed yet i couldn't seem to get myself to open the door.

feeling a hand on my arm, opening my eyes and looking at the hand that was now resting lightly on my shoulder "you can do this. you're brave" Abby said in a calming motherly tone and i nodded my head a couple of times trying to convince myself that what Abby said was true. giving one final firm nod, i twisted the door handle and slowly pushed open the door. hearing the eerie creak it made due to the slightly rusty hinges. the room was dark, it smelt like the same room i lived in before i was locked up when i was ten,it smelt like my father, a smell that nearly everyone you asked would say smelt like home but for me, it brought memories, pain, and things that a child of single digits should never have to witness.

taking a deep breath before flicking the white light switch, a bright UV glow cast down after it flickered on and off a couple of times, filling the room with a white fluorescent glow that accentuated the metallic floors and walls alike. taking small steps in, i looked behind seeing Abby kept her word, still standing outside the door. letting out a sigh and walking fully into the room and glancing around at how the room was set out. a single bed in the left corner with a brown woolly blanket tossed messily over it, a regular sized desk squashed next to the bed with a flimsy metal chair. there was a separate door of to the right with a small clothes dresser.

on the desk were some papers thrown to the side with pens lazily placed on top of them, looking closely i could see something kind of large thrown under the desk on a strange angle. walking over to the desk and crouching down next to it, scooting the chair out of the way and reaching my hand under the desk and grabbing onto the corner and pulling it out from the dark space it was tossed into. seeing it was a medium sized box.

running my hand over the top of the box and pulling it back, crinkling my face seeing my hand covered in dust. wiping it on my jeans and leaving a dusty brown hand mark. shaking my head and sighing, deciding to deal with the dusty mess later. i picked up the box and stood with it securely in my hands. it seems to light for the box, shaking it slightly and hearing something slide around before hearing the dull thud it made against the inside of the cardboard box, hearing something metal jingling among what i assume must be a book. walking over to the bed and sitting cross legged before placing the cardboard box in front of me.

sliding my hand down the loosely applied tape, ripping it open and folding back the cardboard flaps. peering inside, there was a book with a ragged leather cover, a slip o f paper and some metal chain material. reaching my hand in and grabbing the necklace, recognising the style from a book i read when the ark was still in the sky, it was what soldiers used as a name-tag but instead it was called a dogtag, with a smallish metal plate just big enough to fit some words and a metal chain made from beads all firmly placed together. looking closer i could se it had writing on both sides squinting my eyes to read the words on the dull silver metal i could make out it said 'acsende superius' with a small infinity symbol beneath it.

flipping it over to read the other side, it said something in English that i could actually understand 'seek higher things' and underneath those words was the year 2050 with a small set of initials 'B.F'. it reminded me of my dream, 'B' the man marven called the lady with the black pony tail, only now it was obviously short for something and the infinity symbol, 'B' had an infinity symbol on her white lab coat. but the year 2050 is what got me the most, that must of been the time erra my dream was set, only it doesn't quite add up, if it was supposed to be 100 years in the future than it would still have another 3 years to go considering the year is 2147. bringing the chain up and slipping it over my head so it sits securely around my neck.

hearing a crackle at the door and looking in that direction i saw Abby walking to the door while strapping the walkie talkie to to her belt. "sorry to cut things short but there is a meeting about to happen with you're friends and the council about mount weather" Abby spoke and i nodded my head, slightly perking up having forgot about mount weather because of all the recent problems that have occurred. i reached into the box again quickly grabbing and tucking the tattered leather book and paper slip into the pocket on the inside of my jacket before standing up and rushing out the door behind Abby.
