Dangerous quiet things (lexa x you)

*the grounder is gone!; chapter 9

(Y/n) POV

I started to stir and soon opened my eyes I looked around and panicked for a second not used to the unfamiliar environment but soon realised it was my tent and calmed down. I sat up and rubbed the sleep from my eyes before standing up and putting my shoes on. When I finished getting ready I left my tent and walked out into the open camp realising how quiet it is when everyone's asleep and it was also a bit cold but I didn't have my jacket anymore considering I gave it to the grounder but I did the right thing. I hope. I noticed the firers must have gone down over night seeing as it is just coals now so I started back up all the fires around camp and soon enough people started to come out of there tents and people were chatting quietly.

I saw raven leaving the drop ship and she looked absolutely exhausted from probably being up all night fixing the radio so when  she looked over my way so I sent her a reassuring smile in which she returned kindly.

About two hours had past and now everyone was up and the camp was bustling. People were making improvements and fixing up patch's around camp. Clarke and Bellamy had gone and left camp at about 9 saying abbey said something about a military base that  wasn't mount weather but also held supply's that were apparently from ww111.
I hadn't seen Octavia lately so I can only guess she's with Harper or her grounder, but then iv also noticed Finn hasn't been around lately so that kind of confused me because he was either with Clarke or raven and raven was alone but Clarke was with Bellamy I shook my head slightly to get rid of those thoughts.

Camp had been going really slow and smoothly today which is rare. But of course it wouldn't last long. I saw Miller walking into the drop ship and my eyes widen because no one has noticed the grounder was gone yet so this can't go down smoothly. As if on cue for my thoughts Miller runs out yelling that the grounder is gone making everyone run around and scream until we heard a gunshot from the gate of camp causing everyone to stop and go silent. We all looked toward the entrance of camp and saw Bellamy and Clarke carrying bundles of rifles and a couple of bags with I'm assuming bullets but I wasn't impressed, we should be killing grounders let alone bring guns into a camp of juvenile delinquents but I guess it's not my say. I look over to the left of Clarke and see Finn with a very disapproving look and disbelief written all over his face.

He walked up to Clarke and Bellamy then motioned for me to follow along with raven and soon enough we were all on the top floor of the drop ship and Bellamy looked around confused and worried "where's the grounder?" He questioned "he escaped, we're not sure how but it doesn't matter what dose matter though is that you just armed a bunch of teenagers with rifles though! What were you thinking?" Finn asked slightly angry " I was thinking for our people and how we can survive against the grounders seeing as the people on the ark won't be coming down anytime soon! Seeing as we lost connection" Bellamy said back in the same tone "well you don't need to, iv set up a meeting with the grounders, our leader and there commander! If we want to survive we have to do it together!" Finn said again and my eyes widen in surprise.

"What! What do you mean, how?" Clarke asked "well Clarke, it's called a conversation and a negotiation" Finn said "what do you mean negotiation?" Bellamy asked confused "well we need to have a meeting to negotiate don't we?" And the others nodded and for once I didn't hate Finn "well honestly I think it's a better idea than giving guns to teenagers" raven stated "thank you!" Finn exclaimed and Clarke and Bellamy nodded reluctantly. " okay well we need a plan!" Bellamy said "no, all it is, is our leader and 2-3 other people" Finn stated "well who is our leader?" Raven asked confused "well either three of you but we can't really put (y/n) in seeing as she doesn't speak I rolled my eyes but nodded agreeing to his fact "so it's either Bellamy or I?" Clarke asked and Finn nodded "well how about this, I'll go Bellamy stay at camp and I'll bring (y/n) seeing as she's probably the best fighter we have and Finn because he set up this meeting?"  Clarke asked "that works" Bellamy said "what about me?" Raven asked "well you have a choice because Finn said I can bring 2-3 people, so you can either come with or stay and help Bellamy around making sure everything stays intact until we get back" Clarke said and raven nodded "I'll think on it" she said and the other nodded "when is this meeting and where?" Clarke asked Finn "it's today a bit after midday and in this bridge thingy" Finn tried to explain "today!" Bellamy exclaimed shocked and Finn nodded "anything wrong with that?" He asked and Bellamy reluctantly shook his head.
