Seaweed?; chapter 7

A/n) omg I'm so sorry for the chapter 5 I think? It obviously didn't load and save and I bummed out now cos that chapter was great like full on 2000 words and I lost it but I'll try and update more and I know I say this every time but I'm kinda loosing Motivation, sorry.

Your POV

I was hearing loud chatter around me and people shuffling around and metal clanking together "guys! Shut up you'll wake her up and she really needs rest!" I heard someone say and i start to panic a little thinking Octavia's hurt or something and I force my eyes to flutter open and sit straight up and go to look around realising I'm in the drop ship and then everything came back to my mind, trying to get to mount weather, Octavia being bit, jasper getting speared, me caring him back. "Hey, I can practically see the cogs turning in your head right now, chill" someone said and I looked over to see wells and i just raise an eyebrow and place my hands on the ground beginning to push myself up.

"Hey hey, not so fast miss" wells said and went to grab my arm but I did the usual and just sent an electric pulse through my arm causing him to step back and shake his hand around. I already hate every guy in this camp except Monty and jasper.

I started to walk again and I heard the hatch above opening and I looked up to see Octavia peering down and she grinned when she saw me "hey! Your finally awake" she said excitedly and she jumped down and hugged me tight "how long was I out?" I asked Octavia and she thought for a second "about 2 or 3 days" she said and I raised my eyebrows and my eyes widen and I realised it must have been because of using my powers a lot.

I remembered jasper and motioned above my head to the hatch assuming he was up there "he's alright but the wound is slightly infected" o said and I nodded and reached for the ladder and started climbing up only to see an unconscious jasper on a make-do bed. I walked over and kneeled down I went to grab his shirt but Clarke grabbed my hand giving me a look to say 'don't' and I raised a eyebrow silently threatening to shock her and her gave me a 'you wouldn't dare' and I sent a bolt of electricity through my arm making her jump back.

I lifted jaspers shirt and saw the skin around the wound was getting really infected and I couldn't use my powers here because there were like 6 people in here so I gave myself a nod and put his shirt up then standing up and brushing off my knees from where I was kneeled on them and I went to go back to the hatch.

"hey (y/n), where are you going?" I heard someone and glanced back at Monty who had questioned me and I motioned for the hatch and he stood up and followed me down. I started walking around the lower level grabbing an empty bag and a knife Along with a make-do water sack/bag thing and shoving it all inside the bag and swung it over my shoulder.

I looked towards the ladder and saw Monty standing there but didn't make a move to follow me "where are you going?" He asked again "to get something for jasper" and he nodded and went up the ladder.

Ever since jasper was speared everyone has been to scared to go outside the walls that they apparently finished while I was unconscious. That also means they have abandon hunting party's, not that the hunts party's were ever successful anyway.

I was making my was towards to gate and saw Miller was on duty he looked at me and raised his long stick he has at me daring me to move past him so I decided to play a little struck on him.

I widen my eyes and pointed over his shoulder causing him to panic slightly and look everywhere behind him meanwhile I used my teleportation to get around 10 meters away from the camp and started to stroke of to find a river.

I was walking and I could hear someone walking near by and grabbed the knife out of the bag just in time when someone walked out behind a tree I pushed them towards it and put the knife against the mans throat only to realise it's Finn and I let go raised and eyebrow.

He looked shocked and with wide eyes started at me "what are you doing out here" he asked and I rolled my eyes and turned around to start walking again only for him to jog up to me and follow in my steps. Unlike him mine were quiet whether Finns were borderline elephant.

I soon could see a slow river and exactly what I was looking for.red seaweed. I walked over the medium sized rocks and soon I was at the edge of the river I rolled my pants to my knees and dropped the bag on the rocks opening it up while Finn looked confused and curious "what are we doing here?" He questioned and I pointed out to the red in the water "seaweed?"  and he looked almost scared "w-what, you do realise that there are probably water snakes in there..... like the one that but Octavia!" He said and I rolled my eyes. I walked to the side of the water and walked into it towards to seaweed cutting of a good amount with the knife I took from camp and walking out of the water shacking the water off of it and stuffing it into the bag on the rocks and swinging it over my shoulder.

Finn looked shocked and over confused as to why I walked 1 and a half hours to find seaweed but over just followed me back to the drop ship.

Time skip back to the drop ship

After 1 and a half hours of loud foot steps and pound and annoying questions from Finn we made it back and the sun had started to set but it wasn't dark. Me and Finn walked into the camp and I saw Octavia looking stressed out sitting on a log near a fire I lit earlier on and when she looked my way she physically relaxed then rushed over to me and looked back and forth between me and Finn and I got what she was thinking and literally gaged and shook my head I held the bag of seaweed up for her to see and she raised a curious eyebrow and I just sighed and shook my head disapprovingly that clearly she never paid attention in mr pikes earth skills class.

I walked to the drop ship and moved the flap and entered only to see Clarke glaring at Murphy and Bellamy obviously trying to get up there. "What happening?" Octavia asked "there trying to kill jasper" Clarke stated angrily "he driving everyone mad with his groaning and screams of pain he has it coming for him" Murphy said and at the same time Monty opened the hatch and looked down and saw me after sending a glare at bellamy and Murphy which was a sight to see considering he is a cinnamon-roll "(y/n)! Thank god your back, did you get the stuff for jasper? I have had to guard him for hours because these assholes we're trying to kill him" and I sent him a smile and held the bag up and I saw his eyes light up "seaweed?" All the others said at the said time and me and Monty both groaned "you all clearly didn't pay attention in earth skills on the ark did you?" And the others looked guilty "well for your information then, this red seaweed!" I Hadid and grabbed the bag pointing at it "stops infections and has medicinal values" he said and popped back up the ladder while I followed behind him the others following shorty after.

Once I was crouched down I looked to Octavia snapping my fingers( I know it's rude but I don't have any time for patients right now) and got her attention "go get some heated water in something metal and a knife, preferably as sharp as you can find" she nodded "right on it spud" she said and I rolled my eyes at the old nickname meanwhile other people on the level looked confused aka Murphy and Bellamy "how'd she know what you wanted" Bellamy asked and I just shook my head.

Soon enough Octavia came back and I had broken up bit of the seaweed and was slightly crunching it up. She passed me the metal container filled with hot water and I put the seaweed it it giving it a quick stir then grabbing the sharper knife Octavia had brought me "what can we do to help and what are you doing?" Clarke asked and I telepathically told Monty wells and Clarke to hold down jasper. And after a bit of confusion from wells they were all holding them down and I looked around the room for a torch only to realise I hadn't asked Octavia to bring one up and I gained "what's wrong?" Clarke asked and I shook my head.

Looks like here goes another one of my secrets I thought to myself and I held out my left hand and tensed it making a hot flame to appear and everyone else to look at me wide eyed but I didn't pay any attention to them and put the knife over the flame heating it up until it was red and they held jasper down as he screamed while I was burning the infected skin off.

My head started to get dizzy so I chucked the knife in a bucket of water passed the seaweed tea stuff to Clarke and rushed down the hatch to get some fresh air. I crouched down and sat with my back against the drop ship. 'I might get some sleep' I thought 'tomorrow I'll go hunting!' I concluded because it's nearly been a week and no one has eaten anything besides some stodgy nuts and berries. I closed my eyes and started to drift off to sleep sitting against the drop ship.

Gonna publish the next chapter probs after dinner and sorry for spelling and grammar mistakes I don't re read it coz I'm lazy🙂
