Dangerous quiet things (lexa x you)

*there isn't supposed to be a river here?; chapter 5

we had been walking for about 3 hours and we were all getting kind tired. we and octavia were leading the group but i was the only one looking out to make sure that there was nothing dangerous because octavia and the other 4 were just observing nature which was very beautiful. i keep hearing things moving in the trees that sound to big to be animals but i might be wrong because no one else seems to have noticed it. 

 i looked over at octavia and see her eyes light up so i look ahead of us to see a river i notice octavia looking at me and i can tell she's asking me to go swimming with her so i huff playfully and nod and she grins i look back at the other's and notice there occupied in some conversation and are at least  6 meters behind myself and octavia.

octavia and I start to slip out of our clothes she unzips her jumpsuit while i start taking my jacket of and pull my shirt over my head and i look at octavia to see she's staring at my abs  with her mouth slightly open but just ignore it and slide my jeans down my legs and i have short on underneath and over my compression shorts.

now octavia is in her underwear and a red singlet while I'm in short and a sports bra. she jumps in while i go pull pledge and do a flip and water splashes all over Octavia's face. we hear rushing and the others stand on the edge of the rock wall looking down at us. "what are you guys doing we cant swim?" Monty says and octavia stands up "no, but we can stand" she says teasingly.

"guys be carful the water could be contaminated!" Clarke says panicked but i just go under and when i resurface i squirt water at her threw my teeth and the others laugh while she wips the water from her face "there's not even supposed to be a river here" she says "well there is so take of your damn clothes" Finn say but i turn and role my eyes.

jasper starts to take his shirt of and then looks up and his eyes go wide so i look in the direction he is looking in to see something in the water moving and coming towards us fast. by the looks of it, its going in octavia direction "octavia (y/n)!! get out of the water" jasper says loudly and octavia starts to panic and neither of us are fast enough to get out of the water and the giant water snake looking thing grabs octavia.

the others start to panic while octavia is being dragged around in the water by the snake Clarke and Finn nock a giant rock in the water that distracts the snake while i swim fast as i could over to octavia and grab her around the waist and swim/pull her over to the rocks while the other grab her and pull her up. all four of the grab her and pull her up which leave me to the conclusion that there all really weak considering octavia is probably the lightest one here i put my hands on the rocks and they go to pull me up but i shake my head and host myself up with my arms.

once I'm on my feet i ring out my middle length (y/h/c) wavy hair while the other make sure octavia is alright and Clarke rips some of jaspers shirt of the wrap the fabric around her upper thigh i slip my shirt over my head and it sticks to my damp sports bra and i put my jeans in Clarkes bag. once octavia was dressed and ready to keep walking i gave her a piggyback ride because the snake bit her leg before and the bleeding just stopped it was starting to get dark so we set our stuff down is a little clearing and i started a small fire when no one was looking because i don't want them knowing about that power yet.

once it was fully dark and everyone was asleep i went over to Octavia's sleeping body and gently put my hands on her leg and put my mind to heal her so she could wall tomorrow once i was satisfied that i thought it was healed i got up and looked around and saw the forest glowing 'bioluminescence' i thought and shrugged and when to look and some of the glowing moss.

"its beautiful isn't it" i heard  voice behind me and looked to see Clarke and i nodded and we stayed in silence for a while "iv been thinking for ages and i just don't understand how you've got some power type things" Clarke said  and i made a hum noise in the back of my throat to acknowledge that i was listening "is it cool having powers?" she asked and i shrugged and went and sat down while she followed next to me.

after a while i closed my eyes leaning against a tree and i felt something on my shoulder to see that Clarke had dosed of and is laying her head on my shoulder 'cute' i thought then closed my eyes and soon enough i was asleep.

i might update again tonight and sorry this chapter is kinda shorter than usual
