*warning: swearing from a pissed off y/n*

the cold night air pricked my skin, the moon shone down through the trees and the stars twinkled bright in the darkness, it was dark, very dark. i mean what did i expect, being in the forest in the middle of the god damn night, 'oh definitely sunshine' i thought sarcastically. i still hadn't moved from where i had been for last hour or 2. i know i should go back but everyone saw me, they all saw what i looked like, what i wished i didn't look like, what i wish i couldn't do. i need answers, was the thought that had been circuiting my mind since i stopped running. i can only hope that shaggy book isn't someones sappy journal and actually has information i would find valuable.

'i should go back' Octavia might be worried, maybe, unless shes scared of me now, god you'd have to be blind to not see that i was a spark waiting to ignite, a flame to oil, i was dangerous, i guess i could only hope i didn't scare the only person i had when i had nothing at all away.

standing and feeling my limbs stretch, the ache spreading across my body from all the energy I've used up. i don't know how far away i ran nor do i know how long it'll  take to get back but i couldn't let the thought of distance stop me. starting my journey, i made my way through the shrub and bushes, pushed myself over fallen logs. to say i was tired was an understatement. 'i couldn't go much further' was the thought on my mind as i stumbled on through the dark forest. sighing, i dropped to my knees. my legs burning, lungs aching from the fresh air being pulled in and the sting i felt when i exhaled. i could sleep here for the night, sure it wasn't comfortable at all but  my mussels didn't care one bit, they screamed at me to lay down, take a break. i listened.leaning back against a tree, my eyes slipped closed, my breaths started coming in slow even inhales. i felt myself drift off to the no where land people call sleep.

i felt the sun beat down on my skin through the trees.

the morning started to fade to midday.

*chirp* *chirp* *chirp*

how far did i fucking run?. i had been walking since the break of daun, days it felt like but it had only been hours. and this bird has been following me for the last mile, why? i don't fucking know!. but i swear to whoever is almighty i will burn this fucking bird alive if it doesn't leave me the fuck alone. how much energy does it have. i mean i am kind of hungry, nah i shouldn't.

*chirp* *chirp*

on second thought, maybe. normally the chirping of birds was calming, a reminder to let you know you're not the only one out there. but now, it was annoying, beyond annoying actually, its irritating!. its constant squawking, the fluttering of its wings when it would fly from branch to branch to follow me.

doesn't it have better things to do?.

'that's it!'

i don't want to curse against a bird but this fucking chicken is pissing me off. spinning around and raising my hand, going about to shoot what ever decides to come out of my hand this time but my eyes widening, sitting there on a branch is the biggest bird i have ever seen. white head, white feathers and big wings with black tips about to spread out. slamming my hand down and hearing a slam, following the sound i looked to the ground and raised my brows, a rock the size of my hand was in front of me, leaving a dint in the dirt from the impact on the ground. 'wow buddy, i was gonna throw a rock at you'.
