Your POV

Clarke and I had made a plan on how to get maya to show us an exit and now we just had to tell the other 47 and we could get out and make sure our people were alright.

It was today that I realised someone was missing and that someone was probably the person that means everything to me, my best friend, at first I didn't realise Octavia wasn't included in the other 48 but today when all the other juvenile delinquents that were in mount weather were up and getting ready for breakfast I noticed and I'm so worried that maybe she was around when I burnt the grounders or maybe she was lost in the battle and these were questions I desperately needed answers to and it gave escaping with Clarke even more reason, I had also noticed that raven, Finn, Murphy, Bellamy, steering and Monroe weren't with us and I was hoping that they were all alright.

I was just tying my last shoe lace when I felt the presence of someone standing next to me and I looked up and saw Clarke "are you ready?" I nodded at her and stood up and dusted my hands on the thighs of my pants flattening any wrinkles "okay, so we'll tell jasper and Monty what we have planned at breakfast and once their back in the dorm they'll discreetly spread the news but, we also need to talk to jasper about if maya would help us or rat us out" she rehearsed what we were going to do and I clapped and nodded my head in approval and she smiled "do you think it'll work?" She asked after a beat of silence, her brows furrowing to create small lines on her forehead, I grabbed her hand and she looked up at me and I gave her a small squeeze on the hand along with a smile which she returned and by now everyone was heading out of our dorm and going over to the dining hall so we followed on behind.

Chatter, forks scraping plates, chairs scooting back was all that was heard in the dining hall. I sat next to Clarke and across from us were Monty and jasper, to montys left was Miller and to jaspers right was maya and next to maya was Harper. Clarke cleared her throat and the others looked at her "guys, we need to tell you what's happening and you need to spread it along to the other delinquents" she said quietly with a smile on her face "now laugh like I just told a joke" Monty and jasper gave the worst fake laugh that it could even win an award and I rolled my eyes "what do you mean, Clarke this isn't for what I think it is, is it?" Jasper asked and Monty looked between Clarke and jasper confused "yes, me and (y/n), we're going to get out of here and make sure our people on the other side of this mountain are safe-" Clarke was in the middle of explaining when jasper cut her off "no, Clarke. Our people are here, we're safe, grounders aren't climbing through trees and running through forests trying to kill us and I want it to stay like that!" "Jasper, some of our people are here, the ark fell, they said there weren't any survivors but that guard had a bullet wound, raven, Finn, Bellamy, Murphy, sterling and Monroe aren't here so I'm not going to stop until our people are ALL safe!." Clarke said slightly to loud and some mountain men in the dining hall looked over our table confused. Clarke scooted her chair back and stood up "maya, we need to talk" was all the blonde said before grabbing my arm and maya scooted out of her chair following behind us.

We got to a secluded hallway and we stopped walking causing maya to bump into my back 'sorry' she mumbled before straightening up "what wrong Clarke?" She asked " we need you to show us the exits, give us a full map of the mountain and help us get out of here!" "I'm sorry I can't do all of that" she said and Clarke looked like she was about to pounce but I grabbed her arm and gave her a look, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath before opening them again "okay, you said you can't do 'all' of that but we... our friends need us and we need to be able to help them" she said in a much calmer tone "okay" maya sighed "I can get you a map and show you the door to get out with directions but I can't lead you there for risk of me being caught" "that's perfect, lead the way" maya hesitantly nodded and we followed behind.

We arrived at a door that looked really sturdy "okay, so through these doors, you won't like what you see but there is a trap door so just press the red button, on the wall, there should be a map so just remove it and you should be set" Clarke and I nodded and we went to walk through the doors when maya grabbed Clarke's arm causing me to turn and glance back " I know you want to destroy the mountain for what you might find out but please, don't kill us all, not everyone agrees with what their doing and also, you should be quick because I did some digging and your friends won't be safe here for long" maya said I raised an eyebrow "what do you mean they won't be safe?" Clarke asked "I can't explain, you have to go!" Maya pushed us through the door when we heard boots hitting the metallic floors in the hallway.
