Your POV

I could feel a warm hand in mine, the burning feeling in my abdomen and overall just the dull ache that covered my body. If I was being honest, I didn't have any clue how long Iv been out but I wouldn't exactly say im unconscious either. I can feel, hear and smell but I just can't seem to get the strength to move, move my lips, move my body, move my eyelids so I can finally see what's happening and where I am.

I could hear the steady breathing of someone next to me and how every now and again their hand squeezed mine a little. No matter how hard I tried to squeeze their hand back to let them know I'm alright, I couldn't.

Hearing a door open and close then fast footsteps moving towards the bed. "Hey" they whispered and I felt the person holding my hand start to shuffle. "Hi" they replied  and I would recognise that voice out of millions. The one holding my hand was Octavia. "How is she?" I noticed that the person that had just come in must be Clarke. "I think she's fine. She hasn't woken up nor have her vitals changed" Octavia mentioned to Clarke. "Okay, that's good. She made it through the night so that's a good sign for many reasons" Clarke said and I heard her shift around the room. "What reasons?" Octavia asked curious. "Well 1, she's alive and didn't choke or suffocate on her own blood which means  she doesn't  have internal bleeding and that's just a few reasons" Clarke finished and I was confused.

What happened?

Nothing came to mind. "Do you know when she'll wake up?" Octavia asked another question and I could tell by her tone that she was also kind of wondering if she wanted to know at all. "Not for a few days, weeks maybe" not hearing anything in return from Octavia I'm guessing she just nodded.

Hearing a high pitch beeping sound and someone rushing around to the side where I'm guessing the machines are  immediately after the sound started. "What's happening? What does that sound mean?!" I heard Octavia say loudly over the annoying beeping noise.  "I don't... I don't know!" Clarke said and I heard her fiddling with something before hearing a few buttons being pressed. "Somethings definitely wrong" Clarke said and I could hear the panic in her voice and the tension in the air. "We'll do something Clarke!" Octavia yelled "I'm trying Octavia!" Clarke yelled back equally loud "well, not good enough!" Octavia groaned out frustratedly. Just then I heard the door swing open and harshly crash against the metal wall.
Hearing more footsteps rushing towards the bed I'm on. "Stay back, Jackson can you keep them back! We shouldn't crowd her!" I heard Abby order out. Feeling a fuzzy feeling in my stomach and throat, still trying to move or make a sound so they know I'm alright, but to no Avil. I laid there, listening to the people I care about scramble around like headless chickens.

Feeling a hitch in my throat before jolting up and gasping for air. Opening my eyes, they now shoot open. Looking wide eyed at how everyone was just stopped dead in their tracks looking at me with the same expression I had on my face. "W-what, you shouldn't..." Jackson trailed off obviously stuck for words. Wincing and looking down, I saw that I only had on a bra and a bandage around my midsection, seeing that the blanket I must have had on that covered my body was now nestled around my waist and my whole upper half was exposed and it means that they most likely saw my scars. Sure either Octavia, Clarke, jasper, Monty or Finn could've seen them on the first day on the ground but the circumstances were different. It was either my best friends life or a few strangers (at least at the time) seeing my scars, and even though I didn't know nor trust them yet, I still would've chose the first option despite knowing them or not.

Grabbing the blanket and brining it up and under my armpits, covering enough from the front. "You're heart stoped..." Abby said and looked like she was in the middle of setting up a defibrillator but not having had enough time before I shot up, basically from the dead by the sound of it. "Was it you?" Octavia asked and everyone looked at her as if asking her to elaborate "did you use electricity y/n?"  She said after a few seconds of silence. Shaking my head 'no' and actually having no clue what happened myself. Unwrapping the bandage on my stomach, wanting to see what happened before Abby said something. "Stop, you'll most likely bleed out or tare you're stitches if you take that off" Abby said it out quickly as if it were going to stop me. Me not feeling pain beside the dull ache of my mussels, I unwrapped the bandage. Seeing the healed over wound everything came back to me. From my father punching and kicking me to him shooting me and then burning him before I lost consciousness. "How is it...healed or what?" Someone said lost for word and overall just confused, obviously Octavia was the one the answer them "she's got healing powers" not knowing how she knew but guessing she just figured it out, I nodded and everyone went silent, absorbing the information they were given.

Lexa POV

After everything happened with y/n dying and then coming back to life, yes I was there, Abby shooed everyone out of medical so she could run some tests on y/n. I was confused, every time someone asks y/n gets asked a question it's either Octavia or someone else who answers every time. It's was both confusing and annoying me. Why does she never speak for herself? Deciding to talk to Octavia after she's left medical, I went outside.
———

"Octavia!" I called out to her after I saw her talking to one of my warriors. Glancing in my direction, looking back at my warrior, excusing  herself most likely from the conversation and then walking over to me at a fast pace.

"Sha heda?" The skaigirl said in trig and it didn't surprise me, she has been learning a lot about our culture in the past few weeks. "I need to ask you something and I was hoping you could give me some answers?" I asked with authority and she nodded "ask away commander" Octavia said.

I took a moment of silence before asking the questions I wanted answers to. "I've noticed you answer questions for y/n almost always, why is that?" I finished my question and she was quiet for a minute before her eyes went wide and she raised her eyebrows so high they nearly reached her hairline. "You, you don't know?, wow, I thought Anya would've told you at least" she spoke and I raised an eyebrow 'why wouldn't Anya tell me' I thought to myself.

"Well, can you answer my question Oktavia?" I asked and she shook her head around and I was confused. "Yeah umm, well, y/n doesn't... you know... speak" she took breaks in between word a couple of time as if she was trying to use the right words. "Huh" I said after. "Like at all, she's a mute" Octavia finished her jumbled explanation and I nodded my head understanding and then my eyes widen fully absorbing the information she just told me "she doesn't speak, like at all?" I asked again for reassurance that I heard her right. "Yeah, why?" She said and I waved her off. Oh my god. It makes a lot of sense now. Skrish. It makes sense now!.

We hurt her to get Information that either way we wouldn't of gotten and even if she wanted to, she couldn't ,1. Because she doesn't speak and ,2. Because whether she cracked or not was to depend on the fate of all her friends. I feel bad. But I couldn't of known either way, and the thought I'm only just finding this out now when Anya could've told me made me kind of mad. But despite my own feelings I knew what I had to do first.
