Another Uchiha

Chapter 64

"Neji." I called out for him. He was sitting at the top of fourth Hokage's head. I could sense some unease in his chakra. "What is bothering you?" I asked him in low voice.

His head snapped back to me. "Madara? It's nothing..." I looked at him my eyes narrowed. He sighed. "Fine. You just get back and now you are leaving again..." he trailed of in soft voice.

My eyes widened slightly. 'Could it be... he missed me?' i thought looking at him.

"Neji... we will see each other again soon. After I meet woth someone important." Obito "I will call a meeting of my organization. I am coming back in a year time don't worry." I said reassuring him, he smiled slightly.

His smile was much more common then in actual time line, time line without me. I loved seeing him smile. I promised myself I wouldn't let Neji die, and he won't. No way he will.

He looked at the sky. Sun was setting in distance and I moved closer to him sitting beside him. "Neji I missed you too, but we have other things to worry about now. I told you what will start happening in a year." I said not facing him.

"I know. I wish you luck Madara." He said before looking at me. I smiled. A real smile. It seemed that I was only capable of that around Neji, Itachi or Nagato.

We sat in comfortable silence as the stars begone to appear on the sky. "Neji, it's my time to go." I said standing up.

He looked at me and unsurely came forward wrapping his arms around me and holding me in a hug. I didn't return it at first, but just as he was about to stop hugging me I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him back.

We stayed like that for who knows how long. I would admit that I wanted time to stop while we were in this position. It seemed to perfect. I activated my pulled hair away from my Rinnegan, just so I can remember this moment forever as if it happened a minute ago.

I let ho of him, and he quickly mirrored my action. I nodded towards him and saw him blushing before I used kamui to teleport outside of Konoha gates.

I needed to be seen by Zetsu more often now on. I could sense that my 'grandfather' was keeping an eye on me more often now. More often then I would like. Meeting would be soon.

I was in a mood for running, so I did just that. I ran as thoughts in my head begone to gather.

What would Obito say? What would I reply? What would happened between us then? Just as I was about to pass the border of Konoha I sensed presence. Zetsu.

It was time.
