—————
Kirishima was used to sleepless nights. He knows he needs to rest but he just can't bring himself to fall asleep.
It's usually quiet. Most of the time he communicates with Hinansho.
Hinansho?
I'm here.
After the rat tapped that, it jumped up onto Kirishima's bed and curled up near his pillow.
The two stayed in silence for a little while. They didn't have much to talk about. But eventually, Kirishima decided to have a conversation about the place he came from.
Even thinking of them, Kirishima had many questions. What was the entire point of all his torture?
Do you think these people will find them?
The people who stole you?
...Yes.
. . .
I don't know.
Kirishima had given a drawing of the logo that had been burned in his mind to Bakugo, the supposed person in his memories.
If they could just find those people, nobody else would have to suffer like him. He touched his collar again.
Speaking of his collar, Kirishima wondered what those two doctors were talking about. He knew it was about him. That made him curious, really curious.
Kirishima looked over at Hinansho. An idea poked at his mind, which would hopefully give him an idea on what the doctors were saying.
He knew he wasn't supposed to pry at all in private information, he knew that too well. But whatever the doctors were talking about seemed too serious to ignore.
No one would tell him anything.
Hinansho, can you do something for me?
Okay.
When the people here were talking about my collar. I want to know more about it.
The rat looked over towards his hospital door, twitching its nose.
When we spied on the two doctors?
I think so.
Hinansho leaped on the bed and scurried across the floor to the door. It was ajar, so it squeezed itself into the crack and into the hallway.
There were many people in the hallway. However, with all the noise and distractions, Hinansho somehow managed to avoid being spotted.
It hurried through the hospital, trying to remember the room where they eavesdropped on the two doctors. It wasn't actually sure where the room actually was, but it could guess.
A familiar looking hall entered its vision after a few twists and turns. One of the doors had to be it. It waited until there weren't any people in that hallway.
It ran up to the first door and tried to get to the metal handle. After a few minutes of uselessly clawing at the door, it decided to just spring up really high.
Hinansho took a few steps back, and then ran at full speed, leaping up to the handle. Its paws reached the handle, but it slipped and fumbled while trying to balance. It fell off eventually.
But it didn't give up. With hardened determination, it tried again. And again. The door wouldn't give way, it must've been locked. The quirked animal got frustrated.
