Bakugo had been lying in bed for a long time, even though it was long after he'd started feeling better. His phone kept ringing insistently next to him, no doubt being caused from his former classmates. He didn't bother to pick it up.
What happened at the hospital visit was mortifying. He just suddenly blacked out. Who does that?! Why did his body do that? He already had enough things to worry about, did he suddenly need to worry about random blackouts?
Oh well. If it was a fight against his health, he would win. He knew his body best. Bakugo pulled the covers higher on his body, rolling to his side. The phone continued buzzing in the background.
A few minutes passed. God, what was he thinking, trying to sleep with the phone buzzing nonstop right beside him? Bakugo rolled over and grabbed the device, finger right on the silent button, but without enough pressure to push it.
Bakugo stared at it, finger completely still. Breaking against his own will, he sighed, turning on his phone and flicking through the notifications. They were all messages from his friends... how unsurprising.
He flicked a bit further. Texts... more texts... some messages from his hero agency... and a updated status on the organization case. Bakugo swiped that away immediately, then tossed his phone up in the air, where it plopped back down onto the soft covers of the bed.
It still wasn't on silent, but Bakugo didn't feel like turning it off. And it's not like he was getting sleep anytime soon either, so he twisted off his bed and left his room, groggy and bored.
He drank some more water, throat parched from staying in bed all day long. He had nothing to do, and even with his body feeling much better, he felt that if he did something strenuous, the clean air around him would suddenly turn to dust and choke him.
Bakugo went back to his room again and put his glass of water on the bedside table. His phone wasn't buzzing nearly as much as it did a few hours ago, but there was still a consistent stream of notifications. Maybe a big group-chat was active.
He picked up his phone again, out of curiosity, and actually unlocked his phone that time. It seemed like his friends were talking about something... He shut it off immediately. He didn't want to talk with them for the time being.
Bakugo just flopped back down on his bed, and for the millionth time, tried sleeping again, even though the silent button wasn't on.

Denki.K: AWS THAT KTASU JUST ON??!!!!!
Momo.Y: I think it was, although it was only for a few seconds...
Fumikage.T: Hmph. The man who walked from the world of pixels finally finds his way back into our realm.
Shoto.T: Did he read our other messages?
Rikido.S: i don't think he did
Hitoshi.S: If he did, it sure wasn't mine.
Izuku.M: kacchan was here?!
Hanta.S: i think he'll check eventually
Hanta.S: he can't ignore us forever
Toru.H: does he go thru all our messages?
Denki.K: i think so
Tsuyu.A: I'm sure he'd read the first few messages even if he doesn't backread all the way.
Momo.Y: Should we tell him something then?
Kyoka.J: Like a happy 'get better soon' message or just a status update?
Izuku.M: both? kacchan does need the info
Izuku.M: i do hope he gets better soon tho.
Shoto.T: Okay, let's let him rest first.
Shoto.T: Then we'll let him read all our new information when he logs back on.
Ochaco.U: that sounds good to me!
Tenya.I: All right, from this point on, no more talking unless you're the person saying the information!
Mina.A: lmao okay dude
Denki.K: so like, who is gonna say everything?
Tenya.I: Oh.
Tenya.I: I'll volunteer then.
Tenya.I: First things first, Katsuki, it seems everyone we've caught so far has some sort of illness. Chronic ones, and it's only now turning very serious.
Tenya.I: Second thing, I'm sure you're noticing, but activity is slowing down significantly.
Tenya.I: And third, we have a few ideas on where the organization may be. We're going to look at one of them.
