Bakugo thought Kirishima looked a little bit better the next time he visited. Partially because when he entered, the redhead was lying on his bed with his arm hanging off the edge, spinning his finger in circles which Hinansho was following.

But mostly, Bakugo thought he looked better because he was smiling, and that smile was tinged with a bit of melancholy. He doubted any other smiles Kirishima made were fake, but this one seemed infinitely more real.

It just seemed to carry to the rest of his body, even if anyone else didn't notice it.

It looked so strange and wonderful. A tug in his heart occurred unexpectedly, which he immediately grasped with his hand. He thought maybe Kirishima was one step closer to being back.

When Kirishima did notice him though, a look of surprise washed over his face. He sat up immediately.

...And then he started coughing. Bakugo thought he was actually choking for a minute, going by how hard he was coughing, until he weakly said, "...He-llo."

It was meek and his voice broke slightly, but it was the clearest word Bakugo's ever heard him say.

The blond muttered, "Goddamnit, Eiji," under his breath and then sat down at his usual spot.

Kirishima looked eager to show him something, and he grabbed a bunch of half-sealed envelopes from his table. Bakugo couldn't help but notice a mug of what looked like tea also on the piece of furniture.

Kirishima placed the enormous stack of envelopes in his hands, with one envelope saying 'Bakugo' in messy scribbling placed on top.

"Hey, what the fùck am I supposed to do with these?!" he yelped, careful not to drop any of the envelopes.

Kirishima began staring at him like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Reaching to the stack, he grabbed an envelope below the topmost one, and slipped it out. On it said the word, 'Mina.'

"So you want me to be a freaking delivery guy?" Bakugo scoffed, and Kirishima nodded. "What the fùck, Eiji."

Kirishima bit his lip, which surprisingly didn't break the skin, and took Bakugo's envelope next. He ripped it open, taking out a piece of paper. He held it up.

Bakugo peered into it, studying the paper. On it, there were... battle plans? At least, something like that. A drawing which looked like a little Bakugo was attacking someone. A few other extras were behind him.

Some words were next to it, that said something like, 'destroy west,' whatever the heck that meant.

"You want me to kill somebody?"

Kirishima shook his head immediately, but then he looked confused. He nodded afterwards. He probably meant he wanted to knock whoever was in the picture out.

Afterwards, he pointed to the organization. So that's why he wanted them out... but he still didn't know where they were. He assumed the facility where Kirishima was taken, judging by all the equipment and furniture that was drawn.

Kirishima then nudged Bakugo, pointing at all the envelopes. He gestured towards the door, before getting up himself and walking towards it. "G-Go." he said.

"What? No, I'm not leaving already just so I can hand some stupid envelopes out!" Bakugo said.

Kirishima was silent, then nodded, and for a second Bakugo thought he was able to stay. But then Kirishima himself walked out that door without a care in the world.

"Hey! Shìt, Eiji!" Bakugo yelled, chasing after the redhead while simultaneously balancing the envelopes. He quickly caught up. "Are you even allowed out here?!"

"Yes, actually. He is," a nurse said to him out of nowhere. "With the rapid progress that's been happening lately, we've been able to allow it. Although, he isn't comfortable doing it alone. We have you to thank for it."

"Me? What the fûck did I do?"

The nurse laughed. "You're the only one he'll really listen to if we need him to take a break or slow down, you know? As professionals, it's embarrassing to say that out loud, but on the bright side he has been more stable since he's resting more. If you want, you can take him out to the hospital garden for a walk."

Bakugo looked over at Kirishima, a fast sense of relief washing over him. He was getting better. Suddenly feeling up for that garden walk, he rushed over to the redhead, taking his hand and dragging him outside.

Kirishima made a yelping sound that actually sounded more like a strangle as he was pulled. His stumbling slowly became more stable, and they reached the garden quickly.

Bakugo entered, taking in the simple yet elegant scene of the shrubs and flowers. Kirishima's cheeks were slightly pink when his hand was let go of, but quickly focused his attention on the garden as well.

Trees outlined the garden space, while stone paths cut into the grass, creating a geometric shape on the ground. In the middle, a flat circular fountain with a low spout was gurgling water. Bright flowers of different colors surrounded it.

Kirishima blinked, before looking elated. He had been there before, but going with Bakugo sounded much better than with anyone else.

The blond had never actually been to the garden, but he had to admit it did look better than he anticipated. On a nearby bench, he dumped all the envelopes. He wasn't going to carry it during the walk.

So with that, he started going at a slow pace with Kirishima nearby. The feeling of his heart being tugged came back, but he didn't really care. In this garden, he forgot about everything he was worried about.

That would come at a later time, but for now, he really wanted to be with this healthier and happier Kirishima.
